Because it went in the Thunder got to take it out of bounds first and the clock didn't start until it was touched again inbounds. Basically they probably wouldn't have gotten a shot off if he had missed the FT

Dennis schroder is a good player for okc and gets 18.4 points a game atm so it would've been unfortunate for one of their good players to get injured, also the fact that it was from full court, have you ever been in the cold and someone throw a football at your freezing hands and you don't catch it? Yeah it's kinda like that, hurts like hell but probably not enough for an injury but just enough to get a turnover but dennis caught it perfectly so it didn't happen.
Adams should get equal credit for throwing a perfect full-court pass.

And he also said over 60% of official do it from time to time. They call bs fouls to effect the game they officiated. Left to their own devices, the refs likely don’t notice that. Jerseys become untucked during the game, but you can’t check in untucked.
