      I’m a 16 year tnbc survivor I’m in fear of a recurrence. Breast cancer is tricky and return after 32 years.

      @@angelrogers3880 you don't have to live in fear of a recurrence. There is a mental and emotional component that needs to be healed after such a traumatic event such as a cancer diagnosis. Otherwise you cannot live your life in peace.

    I am diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer adenocarcinoma at the age of 29yo!! This video is super helpful. It reminds me that I am not alone in this battle.
    Although I am not a woman, I think being diagnosed with cancer is still very hard regardless of gender. I’ve been fighting this for almost two years, and it is still going.
    Thanks for sharing

      I'm 44 and I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer and I took also found a lump in my left breast. I was told that mines could be a cyst and was told it could be the same thing they told you so I waited before having my lump checked out. I'm in my second treatment of chemo so I still have a long ways to go. Thank you for this helpful info.😊

    I found a lump in my right breast back in September I got a doctors appointment straight away.
    A few weeks later I was sent to the hospital for a biopsy and an ultrasound where they said it was Fibroadenoma.
    A few weeks later I had a call again requesting a mammogram and another biopsy where they found a second lump.
    On November 1st I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.

      I'm glad that at least they followed up and you got a proper diagnosis. Just curious, Did they recommend Keytruda? They seem to be really pushing this for triple negative b c treatment.

      Diet is a good start but with stage 4 there is so much more you can do Supplements, offlabel drugs etc. Find an integrative medicine doctor to advise you.

    @youngandcancerfree can you tell me please do you have lumpactomy or mastectomy? My mother found triple negative breast cancer in december 2023. She had lumpactomy. Grade 2 triple negative breast cancer. Doctor advised her to chemo with radiotherapy. I am afraid of recurrence as she had lumpactomy

    • @youngandcancerfree
      @youngandcancerfree  6 месяцев назад

      I did a mastectomy along with radiotherapy. Your mum needs to understand her disease more and find out what the risk of recurrence is for the different treatments. There's nothing better than an informed patient. Hope that helps you help your mother.

    Hi I was also diagnosed with idc and treated with neoadjuvant chemo , surgery and waiting for radiation,I'm still scared for radiation for my left breast with mastectomy.....so how to overcome with the fear of radiation..

      The worst part is chemo. Radiation was a walk in the park for me. Very easy. Treat the skin really well like u have sunburn from day 1.

      Just found out my biopsy was cancerous. Tissue and lymph nodes. Need support and something to ease my mind. All I can picture is death. People say to be positive and tell me how strong I am. But. I was told it’s invasive ductal carcinoma- Triple Negative, the most aggressive, which is why it grew so fast, which I’ve read TERRIBLE things about.
      PLEASE help me!!! I’m 37! 3 kids. Amazing husband. Absolutely devastated. Definitely stage 3. Waiting to see if it’s stage 4. And, for the pet scan to see if it’s spread to organs. My port will be placed Wednesday. PET scan is the 11th. Echo is 17. Chemo is 18th.
