I didn't realize how a hard cutting would affect the hedge but you answered another person that it would be fine and grow back. I like the lower height because you can see the house and it's so pretty. You are amazing Arms of Steel!

I like the hedges at this height, especially when in front of a house. Growing up my dad used to cut his parents privet hedge and my great grandmother's privet hedge. My dad learned from watching his dad although, both weren't professional hedge trimmers like you 🙂💜💜

It has grown about 5' sideways from the stem of the plant .. It's unbelievable.. Can I cut it back the way you did now in the 90 degree heat in NY? Thank you for sharing your video. It was so cool to watch!

Thank you, in this video I cut a privet hedge, which hedge do you want to trim, Boxwood or Yew? In the heat, there are no problems for Boxwood, but it is better to cut Yew when it is not very hot, but Yew can not be cut much because it may not grow later.
