Uno tra i miei preludi preferiti! Bravissimo!

You are my favorite organist, however in this case I totally agree with Jean-Francois. I do not believe, that the prelude and fuge has ever been connected by the Largo sonata. But your music is as usual top and your organ too....

Hello. :) Although you played nicely, I don't really like this intrusion of the slow movement of the 5th trio sonata BWV 529 there. Sorry. It is kind of breaking the nice link between the prelude and the fugue (which is one of my favorite ones (the same as in the Präludium, Adagio-Trio, Fantasia and Fugue without any BWV number)). But thanks anyway. Cheers ! :)

Cher Jean-François, merci pour votre commentaire.
It seems that, in some copies from Bach's period, the prelude is separated from its fugue by the Largo BWV 529 from 5th Sonata.
You're right and I agree with your opinion.
Like the Toccata Adagio and Fugue BWV 564, I opted for the solution Allegro Adagio Fugue. It's a different way to perform this masterpiece. Cheers!

Hello. Oh, really ? This is interesting. I know that in the baroque period they used to "recycle" some of the pieces in onother ones. So maybe it was the case in the copy you saw. In case of the BWV 564 I have the feeling they fit niced together. The trio sonata one is a very different style. Anyway, Bach's music is still divine ! :) Have a niec day !
