Hi , I just bought a Pfaff 145 - H3 from a good friend she was the second owner and has taken really good care of it but she said i should get it serviced but finding a service person is almost impossible where I live. I need to try doing it my self. Right now it seems to be sewing ok but every time i try reverse it gets all tangled on the under side. It is also a little noisy at times, I have been playing with the tensions that seem to be helping. But I am getting a little frustrated, I would like to start sewing some projects but it just isn't cooperating.
I got a 145-H3 from my dad. The hook timing is off and I need to adjust. Don't know much besides videos. Where can I adjust timing of the hook so it picks ip thread from the needle?
I usually just look on Ebay the only parts I've had to buy for any machine I always seem to find online, like a hook, timing belt, needle bar, or feet, upper tensioner, bobbins and others. Always look over the machines before I buy one and usually the seller knows nothing about the machine not always but many times.

Nice machine, but how difficult is it to get parts. How would you rate this against a Singer or Japanese brands?
