Excellent video, what does the white vinegar do? You kind of remind me of Christopher Walken

I just bought a box of salted cod; it's the first time I ever saw any in my local grocery store, so I thought I'd give it a try. I've never had it, and had no clue how to prepare it. Thanks for your video, you make it look easy and tasty!

Bacalao is cod. Cod is not even found in the mediterranean. Cod caught in NORWAY is dried and salted. The Portuguese specialised in this fish in the seafaring days, it being the perfect form of having food stored. The Italians do have their version, as all mediterranean countries have.
    But, Bacalao is NOT Italian!

We have the same in Greece, the fish does come from Norway as you said. We call it Bakaliaros and we eat with skordalia which is a potato puree with lots of garlic lemon and vinegar, or savori which is a garlic tomato sweet sauce that makes a sweet and sour effect . We fry it exactly the same way, and extra virgin olive oil makes it so amazingly unique.

Where in Italy do they eat spicy food?
      Calabria
Italians, similarly to Spanish, are not keen on very hot food, so the hunt for the spiciest dish in Italy leads us to the right tip of the Italian peninsula - Calabria. The most iconic ingredient of the region is peperoncino - the fiery red peppers that are used in many different ways.Feb 15, 2022
