26yo, i have never used makeup. I don't know anything about the sequence just that the first one that goes on your face is primer. And i believe this is how half of Indian women are. We suck so bad at makeup.

Everyday makeup just isn't normalized in India. Most girls want to wear it (not all girls, but most), but people (especially Indian parents) say it's unnecessary or too expensive. Otherwise, most Indian girls are interested in makeup and learning how to apply it. It's just a fun art form.
Edit: I'm not talking about women, just teenagers like me. Also makeup doesn't mean full on glam. It can be simple or bold, or any other aesthetic. It's just like choosing what clothes you want to wear for going to the supermarket vs going to a wedding :)

I have been into K-pop and Kdrama for almost 3years I was shocked by how much normal Makeup is in K-pop, my mom never let me use a makeup just cause my skin would worsen, I am 17 and I don't have a makeup kit year, I just used a kid's makeup kit for my dance programs, none of us wear makeup on a daily basis.
Why is putting on makeup is a bad thing ? Koreans are doing to their own face . So what's wrong with that ?

Honestly I just put on kajal and comb my hair before going outside and a little bit of sunscreen I don't even own a makeup kit or go to beauty parlour even during my cousin's marriage I just depend on the tomatoes,curd,lemon,aloe vera etc.... in my home
