A lot of people keep blaming Jalen for this that whole team played terrible not saying that Jalen didn't do any better but that line is terrible blocked the defense was lost everything was poorly executed wide receiver dropping passes 10 in all i believe
Yes! I agree with you 💯% ! Let's hope they play great and have a bounce back like they did after Vandy and after Tennessee! I really hope the play calling from Sheridan is better also!
No, discipline is the issue. After 11 games, Alabama is the most penalized team on a per-game basis in the SEC. Alabama has an average of 7.8 penalties/game for an average of 72.5 yards. That's from the cfbstats website. A lack of team discipline is also reflected in dropped passes by receivers, a failure of the quarterback to read defenses, bad eye discipline from defenders, poor pad leverage from defensive lineman and embarrassing behavior from team leaders.
When you're QB throws passes to the other team better than his own and your O Line can't block a D Line made up of nursing home residents wtf do you want the OC to call dude? Milroe can't even throw an accurate screen pass!
What an idiotic, idiotic statement. DeBoer does not get a passing grade this season so far??? If 'he' (the team) does not get a passing grade you are saying he is failing. An ""F". If DeBoer/Bama wins one of their next two games, DeBoer will have 9 wins - equaling the most wins as a first year Bama coach. Bear didn't do it. Saban didn't do it (he was 7-6). DeBoer and Frank Thomas will be co-leaders of that record. And before anyone says Saban had limited talent compared to DeBoer I'll remind you that Bama lost 32 players after Saban's retirement. Plus, DeBoer lost his OC and OL coach to the Seahawks so late that he couldn't go out and hire people for those roles in time for this season. DeBoer is still learning the intensity of every game in the SEC - especially if you are Alabama, everyone's circled game on their schedule - but he is smart. He will figure it out. And again, he will probably exceed Bear's and Saban's first year record while he was 'learning'.
EXACTLY what I been saying to the ones bashing DeBoer. It’s his first year in the SEC, and to go 9-3 is pretty damn good. All those same people are mad because he’s proved their first statements on how “DeBoer can’t coach in the SEC” “The SEC is harder to win in” “He can’t win in the SEC”. Then he proves them all wrong, played some dominate games. Had some off games like ALL great coaches do. We could go on and win the Natty, and those same people will find any reason to talk down on his accomplishments. SMH. They did the same to the GOAT Saban. Just irritates me they expect perfection the first year when DeBoer had the roughest start and no time to recruit or anything in his first year in the SEC, 😮AND STILL could possibly go 9-3 and no time to recruit or anything.
I think kd has done good FIRST YEAR COACHING IN THE SEC. People for grt that, yes with Sabans recruits. Transfer portal has been itching at that depth for years. So compared to Sabans first year, and kd's first year in the same circumstances that is going on. Yes, he had to rebuild this team. 3 loses is not that bad. No it's not what we are used to, no Kalen isn't Saban. Nobody will be Saban, I mean he is called the G.O.A.T for a reason. I say let the man do what he does, we were ontop for 17 years. It can't last forever, I do think he will win championships at Bama. Not as fast as Saban
Saban had to build Alabama from the ground up. Kalen Deboer starter on the 60th floor of 70 floor building. He is not doing a good job. I'd blame most of Alabamas losses on poor coaching decisions.
@UGAfan1227 like I said, if all of his recruits stayed then we would be better off. In the circumstances we are in and the era of football we are in it's basically on the same level. You apparently didn't read anything I said. Kd is doing better job then any other first Bama coach in the history of Bama coaches. You are blind and Saban spoiled you
I hope Auburn walks bama in their own house. Auburn had them on the ropes last year and they have only added more athletes to the roster since last year
Andy trying to read 222.5, which is on the screen right in front of him: (Uh) "225.5" Andy tries to read 222.5 , which is still on the screen right in front of him, yet again: "225.5" Uh, duh........uh.
Alabama's play has been very inconsistent week to week. You can blame the players and/or the coaches, but either way significant changes are needed for Alabama to improve next year. The simplest fix is to get better assistant coaches and coordinators, but I can't help feeling that Alabama needs a disciplinarian at the top and I don't get the sense from DeBoer's press conferences and actions that he is "the guy" to instill discipline into this entitled, unfocused team. When I look at DeBoer I see a touchy-feely Mr. Rogers and not the drill instructor in Full Metal Jacket.🙂
If I were a parent I would never, ever let my son play for someone of Freeze's ilk. With NIL, he can now pay players to come to Auburn legally unlike when he did it at Ole Miss and got that school put on probation and he got a 'show cause' judgement against him by the NCAA. He also used an Ole Miss University phone to call porn lines (and prostitutes?) which is bad enough to start with but he was a married man. That got him fired by Ole Miss. They didn't want a no-morals pervert leading their program. Of course, AU hired their b-ball coach who had committed multiple NCAA violations, just like Freeze, and had a Show Cause judgment against him, just like Freeze, so why not double down and hire Freeze, another guy with no integrity or morals. Another reason I wouldn't let my son play for Freeze, and I definitely wouldn't if I were a player, is he throws his players under the bus all the time when he makes blunders that cause AU yet another loss. That is no-class and I wouldn't put up with it if I were and athlete.
A lot of people keep blaming Jalen for this that whole team played terrible not saying that Jalen didn't do any better but that line is terrible blocked the defense was lost everything was poorly executed wide receiver dropping passes 10 in all i believe
Yea this was the most ive seen our receivers drop passes in a long time…and somehow jalen gets all the blame for this
Yes! I agree with you 💯% !
Let's hope they play great and have a bounce back like they did after Vandy and after Tennessee! I really hope the play calling from Sheridan is better also!
Play calling is the issue….
Exactly its so obvious but people cant look past the texas game last year with jalen so he’s gonna always get blame even when we win its sad

The answer is No.
Jalen Milroe Is The Worst Alabama QB I’ve Ever Seen Play
You have a right to your opinion. I happen to disagree. ROLL TIDE!!
He's hot trash 🗑
I agree! Jalen is a very good quarterback on the ground and in the air!!!!
I can understand saban retiring.nil has ruined college football.theres nothing to play for except how much you can make.
Alabama will.lose. Auburn.always wants it more than Alabama
