From both companies top reels to their low ends. and Kasking is the smoothest of them in both realms. come out from amazon out of the box with much higher grade drag systems. this brand you review here i have as well. really smooth as well. drag system isnt much but same oil felt drag washers shimanos $100 reels offer. frames maybe sturdier but or something but for the money not that much difference. Well when those rake heads ignited, I knew it was problem when the molten magnesium melted through the wheel barrow so like an idiot I grabbed the only liquid that I had that was already in a bucket (diesel fuel) made the problem 10x's worse. 20 yrs later working for the same company I have yet to see a rookie that possesses my forward thinking ability like I had...

Hey man and thanks for all the informative videos in the past. I've to questions and hope u have an answer. 1) Do u mark the gears -pinion to maingear. (eccentric gear) before open them ? I've had some troubles with opening spinning reels which were fished 3-4 Years without maintenance, i lubricated them, assembled them but the they feel really "geary". Any advice/experience? 2) I've seen ur video polishing bc's. I liked it and i want to try it on my spinner. Any experience with that? Thanks for helping, i've learned a lot from you the past few years. Regards Justus
I don't index my gears... Unless they start getting geary... Not really an issue for me anymore since I go through so many reels. You could if you want.. It's actually beneficial as it maintains the same wear pattern...
Do the new KastKing Kaplan Elite spinning reel with claimed IPX6 100% waterproof rating. It sounded real promising but we all are skeptical until you get a complete review on it! Can’t wait 😜
vanford not like stradic ci4 have flex in the body....when flex u know what happen to gear......back then we have choice for light jigging reel...now vanford only confined into freshwater fishing.....stupid shimano malaysia when we need the 2020 twinpower they cant supply the demand locally....but when the new 2021 TP and TPSW model announced there is flood of 2020 TP here....end user know, and will wait for newer model to enter.....
I have two vanfords. I fish inshore with them. They dont flex any more than my ci4 reels do but more than my stradic fl (obviously). They are feather light and smooth as silk. The MGL rotor is really noticeable which is more than I can say for most of the marketing buzzwords used on these things.
I think the FL is smoother than the Vanford, which is crazy since both reels share the same pinion and main gear part numbers in the same sizes. I have upgraded a lot of reels over the last 12mths and there has been a lot of variances in smoothness. I got a 4000 FL which felt geary from the box and a 5000 FL that was butter.
@@brendanspencer2550 Vanford. They are both great, but if you are choosing between the two, the vanford reels are something special. I do notice the MGL rotor all the time when I switch between them while fishing. If you like the ci4+ stradic the vanford is a straight performance upgrade.
I've got $150 budget, fish for blue catfish up to 90lbs & 80ft water. Looking for the best spinning reel in that price range, thinking 60/65 size. What would you recommend either new or used
Hi sir... can you do a magnet test on pen battle III parts....... coz i just got one and it surprised me... and maybe there's a difference between penn asia and penn us made.
I've been watching your teardowns for some time now. It is great to actually see what is behind all the hype that reel manufacturers spin. Pun intended. I've got one question. We keep hearing about hydrophobic coatings on reel parts. I have lots of spray bottles of water repellant for my raincoats etc. Will this help to spray a reel with this stuff? Keep up the good work.
I was watching a review about a reel called Maguro Zander 4000 which sells at a extremely low price also and as far as my Indonesian language skills go it looked like a decent reel for the price. Not sure if they ship to USA though.
Without a doubt, you were a comedian in a former life! That’s a compliment. Now if you can do another sheeshamo reel review, the one with the 12 ball bearings in the handle, that would be awesome. Still laughing 3 years later!
Please do a comparison between the shimano tranx 300 and tatula 300. I've recently bought the daiwa and it really feels like a tranx 300, so i'm very interested to see how it compares to the tranx
The pflueger supreme is a magnesium frame reel for $100 . Back in the day they were nice but these days that reel is problematic and their customer service sucks.
Speaking of best $50 reels. Is the Shimano Nexave based on the same platform as the Lew's Speed Spin G2 that was the same price? Are these reels based on the same platform from the same OEM? I noticed many of the reels with the same shape but with different paint jobs, or different rotors.
@@TackleAdvisors Thank you for the response. I have another Shimano question if you don't mind. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Miravel. For the price and specs it seems like a NASCI with a MGL rotor.

The one I find interesting is the 2021 Daiwa Legalis LT. Supposed to be available in April. Same weight and bearing count as the fuego for $70. line capacity is also the same
It’s SUPER light and smooth
What camera/lighting/audio combo do you use to shoot these vids??
What is line lay like on this reel?
Chinese: Sou Ga Yilang
English: So you Gay Iran
The Pflueger Supreme is magnesium. I have four of them. When they launched it about 15 years ago the price was under $100. I think it's a bit over now. They are nice, quality reels though. Just don't use them for salt.
They are a good reel my son has one. I have Supreme XT's and my Diawa Exceler for almost half the money imo is a better reel.
hello.good video .how i can get ball bearing magsealed daiwa magnetic .i need to purchase
@Tackleadvisor have you heard anything good or bad about the penn fathom lowprofile?
I've polished spinning reel gears and found zero benefits.. Even worm drive gears on spinners... Just for the hell of it.. Not worth the time
Do the new KastKing Kaplan Elite spinning reel with claimed IPX6 100% waterproof rating. It sounded real promising but we all are skeptical until you get a complete review on it! Can’t wait 😜
I hear all the good things about the Vanford. Would love to see your review
vanford not like stradic ci4 have flex in the body....when flex u know what happen to gear......back then we have choice for light jigging reel...now vanford only confined into freshwater fishing.....stupid shimano malaysia when we need the 2020 twinpower they cant supply the demand locally....but when the new 2021 TP and TPSW model announced there is flood of 2020 TP here....end user know, and will wait for newer model to enter.....
I have two vanfords. I fish inshore with them. They dont flex any more than my ci4 reels do but more than my stradic fl (obviously). They are feather light and smooth as silk. The MGL rotor is really noticeable which is more than I can say for most of the marketing buzzwords used on these things.
@@ikashibimauler which would you prefer the vanford or the stradic fl?
What would you recommend either new or used
Quantum Optix 60 on a Berkeley big game rod will catch you all the catfish you want for $50ish combined.
Hi sir... can you do a magnet test on pen battle III parts....... coz i just got one and it surprised me... and maybe there's a difference between penn asia and penn us made.
Can you disassemble the daiwa bg rr... Thanks
Now im kinda currious on what your verdict will going to be if you by any chance review a Cadence spinning reel
Have you tried any Piscifun products?
When is the vanford video coming out?? Need your review before I buy one over another stradic!
Dude...he bounced.
Can you review the Walmart Xfinity Lew's Combo🤔
Did the fishing reel come with a stale fortune cookie saying your going to get ripped off very soon?
*you're
Plse do a review about bait runner spinning reels. Thank you.
I would like you to review the ming yang reel
They arent good for fish over 20 pounds from my experience.
Mings /omotos / akios / abu... All very good
@@TackleAdvisors 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The pflueger supreme is a magnesium frame reel for $100 . Back in the day they were nice but these days that reel is problematic and their customer service sucks.
can i request one reel from Jigging Master Super Star, what your opini with that reel. thanks
😁 WOW This reel looks Identical to the enigma Valkyrie $59.00 spinning reel that was crap that I shown on my channel!! I bet they make it for them!
Are you going to be doing a review I. the new ultegra it sounds pretty awesome and I think should be out soon.
TA can you recommend me a decent 1000 size ultra light reel for big red ear on Lake Havasu please? Preferably Daiwa. Thank you and hope you are well.
daiwa bg 2000
Speaking of best $50 reels. Is the
Shimano Nexave based on the same platform as the Lew's Speed Spin G2 that was the same price? Are these reels based on the same platform from the same OEM? I noticed many of the reels with the same shape but with different paint jobs, or different rotors.
Gonna say no. Tore down the nexave a little while ago. It's basic shimano
@@TackleAdvisors Thank you for the response. I have another Shimano question if you don't mind. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Miravel. For the price and specs it seems like a NASCI with a MGL rotor.
Why did you stop doing reel reviews on RUclips?
Chinese reels are getting better and better. I see a huge difference, in Chinese reels produced today, than those made 15 years ago.
What reel do you recommend tackle advisors for saltwater fishing inshore the Diawa bg of the Diawa fuego 👉‼️please help‼️👈 🚨🚨🚨🚨
take a look at brand like seaknight, gtech, seahawk, bullzen if you want cheap and quality reel, some of them rival those big company and even out class them in terms of price per quality.
Try Deukio brand. I got a shock of its built quality !
@@rohzpopper4922 yeah i know that brand but the reel line up is not as solid as i mention above.
Would love to see you tear down one of the Florida Fishing Products reels and get your opinion on whether or not it's just a Chinese repeat or truly a 200+ dollar reel.
They’re a joke compared to a $200ish Stradic FL
Do you have a review on any Sixgill reels?
You should do the Piscifun Alloy X Saltwater Spinning Reel, is it a good value reel?
if you bought one it's in the garbage by now. exactly where mine is. they don't sell them anymore as of this writing. i wonder why?
Mi può consigliare un mulinello da beach legering?
I likes me nice reels I just never cared for magnesium. Aluminium is just fine. Cant say I need an Exist over a Certate or a Steez over the new Zillion, I do however wish it was made in Japan.
Been a few months since we've had a new video, hope everything is going well. Got that feeling like you are going to say your computer took a dump and lost all the footage you had for future videos!
2 months without new video😔
I was watching one of your older videos it was a lure unboxing but in it you mentioned bkk hooks. I looked them up and got some worm hooks and some raptor treble. I usually use owner but these bkk seem Even better.
Seriously.. They are incredible hooks
Maybe is the fishing line or the box is magnesium??
More videos! Yours are really great and I would like to see more fishing vids too ;)
Good work!
Please do a review on the shimano Nexave. Thanks.
What under reels under $100 would you recommend for a freshwater guy that wants long lasting quality and good performance?
What do you fish for?
What Brendan said :)
I do light action bass fishing and pan fishing. Using between 4-8 lb test. Spinning reel. Thanks
@@robwilliams2265 I would say a 2000 size reel, I have had good luck with the abu garcia silver max, however I think you'll have good luck with any low priced shimano, abu, or diawa.
Fiblink sapphire 9 foot is the best spinning rod 50$ can buy. Amazon comes thru from time to time.
I would love to see you reviews the diawa regal Lx 3000D-CXH For a cheap real It has very good specs
Can you make a video about Daiwa BG magsealed? Please please please 🙏🥺
Would you be interested in doing a video on the lews pro TI baitcaster and explain why its $350
You may be holding your breath for a long time. He stopped...
If I'm going to buy a sub $50 reel its Pflueger President. Sub 100 then i go to daiwa BG or Fuego. spheros or cedros under 150. saltist around the 200 price point and slammer after 250.
Please dissect the American Curado BFS.
