These dollar tree faux windows make great back drops in an office, basement, or anywhere in the home. You did a good job and your video was well done. I would like to make a faux window that I could put on the outside of my garage door to change the look of the front of the house. I had not thought about using frames but now that I have seen your video I am going to look into it. Thank you so much!

    I love this. I want to do this but to put lights behind it so it looks like the sun is shining through. Have you ever done something like that? Your project looks amazing. Ty.

    Why would you take the glass out? Isn’t it supposed to look like a window?

    • @evebydesigns
      @evebydesigns  2 года назад +2

      The glass was too heavy for the frame and I reused it on another diy

    That looks awesome, did you put a light behind it to make it look like real? or is that just the shower curtain?

  • @BLAKEEATS1988
    @BLAKEEATS1988 11 месяцев назад +1

    Since there are curtains covering the sides you might wanna add an led light to make it a little bit realistic since the backdrop looks like it has a lot of lighting.

    • @evebydesigns
      @evebydesigns  11 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely would look great with lighting

    Would it look dumb to add LED strip lights behind it in natural white to make it seem brighter or more real?

  • @littleripper312
    @littleripper312 2 года назад +1

    Putting some distance between the image and the window frames would make it look a lot more real.

    What kind of light could be added for an interior basement room?

  • @sarahgabriel5857

    How did you secure it to the wall when you were done? I'd like to do something like this on a cinderblock wall but I obviously can't use nails or screws to do that

    • @evebydesigns
      @evebydesigns  11 месяцев назад

      I just used nails in my wall but cinderblock might need a special type of nail

    Looks great! How much did it cost you to make it? What are the dimensions?

    • @evebydesigns
      @evebydesigns  11 месяцев назад

      You can make whatever size you need it’s a shower curtain so however much that costs (the one you pick) plus $1.25 each for frames in the front and furring strips for the main frame.

    Did you use any lighting?

    • @evebydesigns

      No but you could definitely add lighting.

    What did you hang it with?

    • @evebydesigns
      @evebydesigns  2 года назад +2

      Bc the wood on the back has a lip I was able to just put nails in the wall and hang it
