  • Large Maples are my favourite bonsai. In this video I shape a few smaller Maples and a Large Twin Trunk.
I show pruning with scissors and using the plucking method.

Out of all the bonsai tutorials or "How-to-care" videos I've seen this is by far the BEST! Not only are you informative but you are real! Some of the people doing videos like this one are so sterile and boring and robotic... you are very entertaining, sir! Thank you! I've subscribed

It's a video about maples, but I can't take my eyes off that beautiful juniper. It's a very art-deco shape. Now I want one like that.

I must thank you for these videos! I have learned so much from you. I only have one ficus bonsai, which I bought for $1 because it was almost dead, and I brought it back to life, and got a cutting that is slowly growing!! Today I actually worked on a pine! Love your videos, love you!!

Thank you Peter, I am off to examine my Bonsai Maple which was a gift last month. Now I feel I can approach pruning with a bit of excitement rather than the trepidation I was feeling. I loved the shirt!
