Joe, you are a brave man. Wearing shorts in the sewage zone. I know it washes off but you can’t get a proper shower until after work. I used to wear dresses in my early years as a nurse, then switched to scrubs when I started working ICU and ER. Crud central. It didn’t hit my skin directly most of the time. And shorts in early winter. You must be from the midwest area of the USA. Us fools will wear flip flops, shorts, and no coat until it’s below freezing. My crazy niece wears flip flops until there’s a significant amount of snow on the ground.

I can think how fortunate people are that they don't show house numbers in videos. Can you imagine going to work and hearing, I watch The Drain Unblockers latest video... yeah they were at Neil's house... Big Clog, lots of floaters.

Worked hard and got the right result. Only criticism is that you put the lid face down on the grass and despite using plenty of disinfectant, you did not disinfect that patch of grass. Worth one or two more splashes, or lean the lid up against the house.

Quick question after watching so many of your videos (you and your colleagues!), do you open the drain and view it before filming and then film and act as if you’re viewing it for the first time, or do you actually see it for the first time with us?
Doesn’t matter to me (or anyone I imagine) if you do have a look before starting filming, merely a curiosity is all!

When you guys start the jetter does the pressure pull the nozzle in or just makes it easier to push in? Watching from across the pond, keep up the good work.

It sprays water backwards so it propels the nozzle down the pipe.

I curious to know if the owner's yard area always have a smell of sewage since the manhole is so swallow and close to the house.
I know why he disinfects after each job, it is to deodorize and re-fresh. I bet, that is the only time the manhole smells nice and fresh.
Why didn't the jetter go any further? You hit the council main?
Felt more like an underground interceptor! Definitely cleared from how quick it gushed away though.... Will investigate further if happens again....

I’m a plumber in the states for life of me I can’t figure out why y’all have those manholes all they do is collect solids and I imagine they’re not air tight causing a oder. Why not use clean out fittings like here?
