I have to be honest you and 39 Daph vods are the best when it comes to you shooting skills, you problay don’t know her but you two are on the same level as pro gamers.
So I watched your first video of gta5 and I was impressed. Been watching many first timers and seeing so many interesting differences. Your driving skills on a kb is impressive. I haven't seen the same since the first NFS game came out and only Chinese on kbs could beat me. That you don't like Trevor makes me happy. My 18 yr old granddaughter Megan is your identical twin minus the tats. She's blond and into makeup so her lashes are full too. I will invite her to play and watch her reaction. Thanks, be safe, healthy and happy.
@@retired_USAF that’s so cool! Hope she’s doing great and both of you are healthy and happy too! 😊 and thanks a lot, I’m definitely more used to m&kb instead of gamepads 🙈
Only watched the first few minutes as I'm typing this so forgive me if this is answered later on. Just to comment on the music issue so far I would ask what type/format of files are they. I've got plenty of my own music in that same folder you mention and things work fine for me in-game. I have mp3 files so maybe if you have some other format it might not be working. I actually found that I didn't need to copy the whole mp3 file into that folder but I could just copy over small 2-3 KB shortcuts/links to the music files into the folder. Also, you can listen to the talk radio stations while driving without copyright issue. They're pretty funny.

Crowan here again. On the music thing you worry about for youtube, twitch also does the same, if you watch a past twitch session that has music or some type of copyright issue, twitch mutes the sound. But anyway, on this video I see you had about as much trouble flying a helicopter as everyone else has had when first playing. Since you have no ground for breaking like in a car you have to use the helicopter power against itself meaning if you want it to stop moving forward you had to make it move backwards just long enough to make it stop and hover. And once you get close to the target area you, or what I did, would stop so that Im hovering and then inch my way to the actual target area, like an inchworm inching its way home.
RUclips doesn’t mute the sound itself, you have to manually do it for the sections by the detected songs. It’s also good that they then mute it but the rendering takes ages especially when you have to mute many different songs
For people (like me) coming in late and having similar issues with a helicopter: Applying throttle or lowering it ( W and S key) will only move the helicopter up or down. "Rudder" (the heck rotor) counteracts the spin from the main rotor (without it the cabin starts spinning) and can make the helicopter turn left or right (Num 4 and Num 5). To move forward, you need to press Num 8. But this will trade altitude for speed - you will move forward but you will lose height. So you either descend while you accelerate forward or you must apply more throttle (W) to maintain altitude. The tricky part is the stopping. If you let go of Num 8, you will eventually come to a stop. But it is very hard to control that. For a controlled stop you need to pull back (Num 5) which will make the helicopter try to fly in reverse - bleeding off forward speed in the process. Then let go off Num 5 when you have 0 forward speed and use S to descend. And the GTA controls are actually ok - they are pretty much like a helicopter works, although the split between regular keys, the numpad AND the mouse is highly debatable since most humans lack a third arm. Flying in GTA is easier with a joystick attached to the PC, although because of the bad dead zones when pushing forward, it is next to impossible to not also include a small amount of banking. :(
@@jiadalma - Sorry for coming in too late but also shame on your chat for letting you down on that one. But maybe there will be other games with helicopters - hopefully with controls for only two arms - the principle of helicopter flight is usually the same between games.
I know what you mean about Trevor. I've played through the single player 5 or 6 times over the years and yeah... Trevor sucks. He's a really interesting character. Very compelling. But he's a terrible human being.
@@jiadalma Well, the Trevor thing is a bit complex. Since you tend to talk over conversations in this game, you miss quite a bit of his background. Let's leave aside that he is actually quite insecure and tends to cover this by being extra abrasive, trying to throw people off whenever he can so that he can control the encounter ... T is a pretty honest, no pretense character. Michael is the POS. He betrays his team - just have a good look at the very beginning after the car crash, check where Dave aims at and why Michael says "The wrong guy got killed". Franklin, though appearing to be a nice guy, kills remorselessly - his main line is "I really have to learn when to say no." Trevor, though, is loyal - extremely so. And I guess some people enjoy Trevor acting out what some of them have thought about doing (maybe a less extreme version) to their wife, kids, annoying neighbors, etc. Since you kind of don't seem to get the format of the game (it is an interactive story, not your normal game like Skyrim, etc.) the things that ARE enjoyable in this game, are kind of lost to you. I think, like RDR2, this is just not your type of game. It's not a RPG, open world game - it's an interactive story with the missions (unfortunately) pretty much on rails.
@@jiadalma - RDR2 has way better voice acting, more to-life and not so over-the-top characters and a beautiful landscape. I have a playthrough parked in Act 3 just for hunting, fishing and enjoying the scenery. Missions be damned.
