Today is about unleavened bread. This is a bread that every Christian needs to know how to make. I've already made this once before • How to Make Unleavened... , but this time, I’ve got a few more pointers to add.
The unleavened bread is so important to our walk with the Lord and what our Lord actually did for us when we make this bread. It's not just about the feast of unleavened bread • 5 Ways to Celebrate th... , although it definitely is a must to have at that time.
Unleavened Bread Recipe - Just 4 Ingredients
This recipe for unleavened bread has only four ingredients:
- 2 cups freshly-milled flour, which represents the bread of life.
- 3/4 cup cold Water which represents salvation and cleansing.
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil, which represents the pressing.
- 1 teaspoon Salt, which represents the covenant.
You may also add fresh herbs such as oregano, parsley, and rosemary for extra flavor.

This is such a simple recipe, so easy to make. Now, any time you're making bread from scratch by hand, anytime you’re hand kneading, it's always a chance to just sometimes work out some frustrations, work out some stress and pray for family members.

I appreciate the time you took to make both videos on Unleavened bread. I have been reading from scripture and was curious on what the individuals in the bible ate and what they cooked to eat on the daily. this was one of my first questions " How do I make Unleavened bread?" then i came across this very amazing video. *Note: I watched both videos and didn't get the measurement for the salt. don't know if it matters but figured I would ask.
Generally salt is to taste. I would actually recommend mixing the salt and flour together first and tasting if you’re unsure, then add the wet ingredients (water and oil)

Hi! How long do you leave the bread in the oven for and do you flip them over half way through?

I want to personally thank you Annette Reeder for this recipe-never would've thought that each spice/ingredient would actually mean so much!?! I just baked off my second (06/09/23) batch, and am able to say, I am able to eat bread again-only without the yeast! It took awhile for me to realize that, that kind of bread would be "unleavened" bread. What's also a good thing; what was good back then, still in this day and age, also applies now.

Hello Annette, thank you for all these wonderful recipes and tips. I will love to try this unleavened bread. I have just begun to mill my own flour and praying to reap the health benefits. I also saw your video on the healthy tonic, which I just bought the ingredients to make. With all respect from my heart, if you will allow me to make mention of something I heard you say here about taking out frustrations while kneading the dough. In my understanding of some things, our thoughts and emotions are energy that are not just contained to ourselves, and preparing food while thinking and feeling frustrating issues may not be quite the energy we want knead into our food which we will then eat or feed to our loved ones. I've put the type of flour you mentioned using in my online shopping cart so I can purchase everything I need for passover. I am curious, though, you mention that some people don't agree with you on the flour you use.. Why is that? Also, could someone just use all purpose flour? Specifically, what are your thoughts on the other types of flour. Obviously, I know I wouldn't want to use the self rising flour.. lol Just curious. Also, how much salt and olive oil do you use in this recipe? Thanks.
