I am saving up to purchase one, right now. This is definitely a grail piece for me! I love the iridescent paint and I’m glad that it has the Peter Weller face plates, simply because this will be my first & only 1/6 scale RoboCop figure. I currently have 4 1/4 scale figures in my collection: Spider-Man, Batman Begins BATMAN, TMNT Leonardo and DAREDEVIL. My 1/6 scale collection includes Reeve SUPERMAN, WONDER WOMAN (Comic) & WONDER WOMAN (Movie). Looking forward to adding RoboCop. Great review. Very informative and insightful. The bulk of my collection consists of vintage figures from my childhood & 1/12 & 7” scale figures. I also have two 1/9 scale figures, RoboCop V 1.0 & Enterbay Michael Jordan. I’m in the process of downsizing my collection and focusing on grail pieces. I would love a Flynn Light Cycle from TRON: Legacy.
I have this myself and love this figure. I also have the OD diecast as well and I couldnt pass on this as a Robo fan, the jet pack and the extra arm gun make it so much fun to pose. There's is a slight color change from the original but if you dont own a Robo who knows when Hot Toys will do another so this was a must. Great video!

Agreed!!! I've been back and forth on the V.2 of the ED209, because it looks so good! I haven't had other material crack or deteriorate so I keep thinking I'm just lucky in me environment. Thanks for watching!!
No, but I haven't tested it with several different poses or anything. But I would only display this piece with a stand, it doesn't feel like the weight is distributed all that well. Thanks for watching!!

I got the stand from eBay. I just searched for 1/6 Robocop stand. There seems to be several sellers in China that make them. Always had a good experience. Thanks for watching!!!
If I had to guess, Hot Toys released this, with very minimal changes and practically no updates or improvements other than slightly better paint, to not only make some money off a 10-year-old figure that was commanding high prices on the secondary market but to also keep its RoboCop license.
Thanks for the review. Good that You maention that the arms don't go as close to the body as the first version; I was wondering if that was just with Dean's figure, but yours seems to have the same problem. That might be the one thing to keep me from getting this new version, as much as I like the new paintjob.
Ya, definitely a figure design issue, not a qc issue for a few pieces. But that can easily be camouflaged with posing, so I wouldn't let it stop you from getting the figure. Thanks for watching!

I’ve got the OG collection and love how good they look! My only complaint is ED209 and the rubber used on the head. It’s prone to cracking.

Did yours have loose ankle joints? Mine can't stand up

Always wanted a RoboCop figure and I missed out the previous one. This one does it for me. When I look at it I see classic RoboCop.
In my opinion, it looks more like Classic Robocop than the original diecast figure, based on the paint alone. Thanks for watching!
