something i dont think people realized this last season, defenses were set up to deal with P Mahomes and instead of gunslinging downfield, like Brett Farve refused to stop doing, he adapted and switched to making more calculated thought out passes. all these defenses are playing cover 2 high which allows for mahomes to make plays midfield. not as exciting as throwing 70yard bombs but it won them a SB and it really shows how good this guy is adapting

As a matter of fact I've only ever seen one other quarterback that has ever been able to pull that off so well, and that was Joe Montana. The only thing that he would sometimes do different is when he was running to the other side of the field, he would jump in the air and throw it to the other side of the field as he was spinning around. And as for his no look passing, l call him the "Magic Johnson" of football. Because the basketball player Magic Johnson, was the only person who l saw do the no look passing so well in any sport before Patrick Mahomes came along. By the way, I've seen Tom Brady try some of those across the body throws in his time, and it never worked out well.

In the past, when you didn't want to run up the score, you would do an onside kick.
You usually didn't get it, so the other team got good field position and if you stopped them you had to drive the length of the field.
I was told that in the 50's the Chiefs were beating the Broncos and they did this, but the Broncos couldn't get the ball.
The Chiefs onside kicked 3-4 times in a row, recovered them all, and scored again. THAT caused bad blood.
