Appropriate to show the background work that goes into signs such as layout and drawing. Good work. Maybe talk about substrates in another video.👊
    Looking forward to it.

This is just the video I asked for thanks Lewis, I really appreciate the time and effort you do to make all these great videos, I'm getting better at my lettering I don't have a plotter so everything is freehand so was getting mixed up a bit when it came to the shadows, anyway great video, and another good formula is the 3X5 box method just for anyone out there reading the comments.

      Hi mate. Thanks!
It's all practice, one day I'll manage to get the hang of it! 😅🤣 Keep working at the lettering and feel free to send me some pictures. I have an email address I put in the video description, send some over when you get a cool one you wanna show!

THE LETTER HEAD where can I get lettering paints?

    • @theletterhead

Ronan paints are pretty good, and don't seem to have any problems with stock. They have a few distributors in the US and Canada, but might be difficult elsewhere.

Helpful to anyone making a sign..... but watch it with the sound off.... the " mumbling " was beyond annoying.

Ya gotta pay for the mumble free version... enjoy those mumbles boyo!

Yeah it did take a while. But I wanted it to be fairly accurate.
This technique i would use more on larger lettering. Ideal for murals or rough surfaces with a piece of chalk.
I have a plotter that is limited to 24 inch paper for drawings.
Lettering any bigger than that, is drawn like this, often alongside a scale drawing for reference.
