Spot on! And a song (with video) from her "Brave Enough" album that came after this one is kind of a sequel to this one, picking up the "storyline" where this one ends. It's about the danger of backsliding from a recovery back into old, bad habits... the song is "Lost Girls". It would be an excellent follow up to react to after this one.

Lindsey Stirling writes mostly instrumentals, but also does a lot of collaborations with artists that sing on her songs although she can also sing herself. She has collaborated with many artists besides PTX and Lzzy Hale. She has also worked with ZZ Ward, Peter Hollens, and Amy Lee of Evanesence and many, many, more. In fact, Lindsey had wanted Amy Lee to sing "Shatter Me" at that time, but Amy was pregnant at the time and couldn't do it, so Lzzy did. Amy has sung "Shatter Me" at live shows when they toured together in 2018. Amy then wanted Lindsey to play violin on Evanesence's song "Hi-Lo" for their 'Synchronicity' album. Amy Lee has done the vocals on Lindsey's song "Love Goes On and On" from her latest album 'Artemis'
Lindsey is also known for her gaming music besides dancing while playing. She has NEVER taken ballet lessons, but she did finish in second place on season 25 (2017) of Dancing With The Stars.

Very fitting. I was at a Lindsey Stirling concert several years ago where she was touring with Evanescence (a band that was a huge inspiration to her career), and Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee sang the Lzzy Hale part for that performance.

I think it was in round 3 one of the judges said no one would pay money to watch what she was doing and she was voted off. It's been awhile since you reacted to Halestorm. Her songs "Back from the Dead", "Mayhem", "Love Bites So Do I" are really great.
One of the most satisfying things Lindsey has gotten to do in her career has got to be going back to the America's Got Talent stage where she was told that, though it was lovely, what she did would never make a show in and of itself to perform this exact song several years later. Basically throwing it in the judges faces, saying " HA!!!!!!".

You really need to watch the studio version of this with Lindsey and Lzzy together in the same room, no fancy film clip, no editing, just bare bones...Totally amazing.....
i love how they had Lzzy representing the music box inside Lindsey's snow globe and how she smiles at the end when she breaks the cogs and clockworks its a deep visual show of how we all have that voice/side of ourselves that knows we need to get out of a rut or free ourselves from a poisonous environment Lindsey shows the fear of the unknown we face when we realize we have to step outside our comfort zone (represented by the bat) but also the knowledge that there could be better things out there for us (the bat turning into the butterfly) and when we finally free ourselves (Lindsey's face and snow globe shattering away) we are proud of what we have accomplished (Lzzy's smile at the end)
this was just an incredible intro to Lindsey's work and her amazing ability to grab SO much emotion from you just with her violin

I absolutely love this song and video! The song is powerful, and has a very personal backstory for Lindsey (mentioned in some of the other comments). The video is one of the best and most creative I've seen. Pure gold.

She did another one back in the day with PTX, "Papaoutai" (a Stromae cover) that is sung in French!
She's done many collaborations with other artists (this one with Lzzy Hale is a great example). She has several collaborations with Peter Hollens, mostly doing TV, Movie, and Video Game themes with Peter Hollens doing his amazing layering of his voice and her violin with several dozen tracks... a "Star Wars" medley, "Game of Thrones", and "Skyrim". All are outstanding.

It is one of the older music videos from Lindsey from 2012. I still like to hear this, even if I often listened to it for hours at the time. The video is wonderful how the rest of your video so far
