    Neda intentionally stated that anyone eating for 21 PHP per meal is not poor. They do this to report and broadcast that Filipinos are less poor than before, but everyone knows the reality. It's just sad that many of our politicians are corrupt and unwilling to improve the lives of Filipinos.

      @@cardinalwilson8034 but let's keep in mind that everyone's different and we get different opportunities. Whilst some people do raise their social status, some people don't have the means to do so, or haven't been as lucky. I'm glad that your life has become "certainly easier" but I just hope you know that it's not right to compare your life from others and be so oblivious of how bad our current economy is or how our fellow Filipinos are struggling from being poor. No. Life has been easier for you, but not for everyone.

    • @cardinalwilson8034
      @cardinalwilson8034 3 месяца назад

      @@nikki_jeanne8095 certainly life has been easier if all you do is complain in the internet. Usually mostly people who have been struggling with their daily living have no time to even look at comments or react and make comments of their own. Which really lead me to think that, you people of the internet really don't know what actual hard life is. My family have been through hell back in the 2000's, i was malnourished when i was 8 including my 4 brothers, people in our neighborhoods used to send foods to our dilapidated house, it became even worse during yolanda, we fucking lived in the streets we cant even eat properly with the relief goods we have to share because some retard politicians didnt distribute it because of some rtarded reason. Not only until it was 2015 or 2016 or around that time that we feel like we can at least not ask for food to survive. My brothers finally have their jobs, I graduated through acceleration test via ALS because i only finished 6th grade. found a job as a call center and since then we even have a leeway to afford internet which would be really impossible for people who have "HARD LIFE" to have.

    I live in the province, and prices are mostly cheaper here than in cities like Manila- but 21 pesos per meal is nearly impossible especially if you consider proper nutrition. NEDA reported this absurdity that Filipino people who afford more than 21 php a meal is not experiencing poverty is so out of touch and delusional. Really shows us how stupid they can get just to dumb us all down as well. Anyway, your videos are so honest! I love them so much. T__T

    • @gustlightfall
      @gustlightfall 3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah I also live in the province, 21 pesos for a meal is impossible, even the cheapest carenderia charges 70 pesos just for the ulam alone. So the 63 per day for healthy meals is a bunch of bollocks, specially when you have to pay for gas, oil, and water to cook with.

    • @darthbiker2311
      @darthbiker2311 3 месяца назад

      That's because you don't understand what the figure is for. It's a threshold, not a recommended budget. _Of course_ you will eat substandard meals when you're food-poor: a cup of rice and an egg, a cup of rice and instant noodles, etc. And it isn't 21 pesos per meal, it's 64 pesos per day. Bold of you to assume that food-poor people eat 3 meals per day. If you can afford to eat in a carinderia 3x a day, would you still be considered food poor?
      When lower middle class and other socioeconomic class pricks get offended for the Class Ds and Class Es by rageposting ignorant comments like these, using smartphones or laptops they totally own and have money for load credits, it's clear who's being out of touch and delusional.

    For breakfast, you can buy the smallest size of chicken spread, which is flavored mayo. It's about P10 each. Remaining P11 can be spent for pan de sal, which is about P2.50 each. So, you can buy 4 pan de sals and one chicken spread. Find a sari sari store that has a water dispensing machine that sells purified water for P1.00 in a plastic bag.
    Lunch, buy one sakto size of instant pancit canton, which is about P12 then buy 3 pcs of Pan de Sals to go with it. The change you can use to buy water.

    I think the logic, it should be technically 21 x 3 pesos = 63 x 30 days = 1890 a month. Now you can try to make a budget for cooking ingredient.
    (Chatgpt) Total Cost Calculation:
    Pork (3 kg): 720 pesos
    Ground pork (2 kg): 480 pesos
    Rice (6 kg): 240 pesos
    Soy sauce: 20 pesos
    Whole chicken: 150 pesos
    Salt: 10 pesos
    Onion: 60 pesos
    Pepper: 10 pesos
    Garlic powder: 20 pesos
    Water jugs (3 × 35 pesos): 105 pesos
    Sardines: 20 pesos
    Total: 720 + 480 + 240 + 20 + 150 + 10 + 60 + 10 + 20 + 105 + 20 = 1,815 pesos
    you can make your own soup meal just to save, but it is plausible though its really really hard.

    breakfast = 21 pesos
    bread - 9 pesos, coffee twin pack (use 1st pouch) - 12 pesos
    lunch = 10 pesos
    coffee (use 2nd pouch) - free, kanin - 10 pesos
    dinner = 33 pesos
    kanin - 10 pesos, 2 eggs - 20 pesos
    dessert - 2 peso candies
    and being a worker here is very very tough so nutrients from this foods i listed is very low, see how dumb NEDA can be? :(
