Your better of just staking from Keplr wallet? 21 Percent rewards, same validators, qualify for all the airdrops. Yes ledger is the safest but as long as you dont give out your keys to anyone and keep it generally safe keplr is fine. Also its locked up, its not like someone can just come hack and take your coins. They would have to unstake them and you would know about it!
How do we know how much interest we are getting per year for staking ATOM with ledger? I saw 7.5% commission is that what we will get if we stake atom?
@9:30 You clicked view details so you could see the summary of the transaction and then the video cut to 'status change confirmed'. I'm assuming you edited this part as it took time to be confirmed. Is it possible to check the status after this 'view details' stage if the person dosen't wait to check the confirmation to make sure the status is confirmed on the cosmos network?
Hi, The maximum annual yield on ATOM is up to 20%, minus the validators’ fees. You can estimate your rewards via this link. We hope this helps. www.ledger.com/staking/ledger-node/cosmos#:~:text=Earn%20rewards,-You%20can%20passively&text=By%20delegating%20your%20ATOM%20to,your%20account%20in%20Ledger%20Live.
@@Ledger It's not an issue exactly. I just thought using the 'compound' button would automatically stake rewards at a set interval. It looks like to stake rewards, one has to hit the 'compound' button manually each time you want to do it.
@@Dave_D. Its not worth staking from Ledger, they take half the percentage from you, better off in Keplr wallet, get your full allocation of 21 percent APR, get the airdrops from new protocols and you can set the auto compound function with the right delegator who offers it. They safety part is a non issue as its all locked up anyway
Hey, I have a question, I stake atom with my ledger since 1 years but I can't claim my rewards. When I click on Request Rewards it shows me "transaction failed". What's the solution ?
Hey Azaz - you need at least 192 DOTs to be able to receive staking rewards, this amount is automatically set by the Polkadot network. Another thing to pay attention to is which validators you select, a validator that doesn't get a lot of nomination will not make it into the "active set" and will not earn rewards This guide can help: support.polkadot.network/support/solutions/articles/65000150130-how-do-i-know-which-validators-to-choose- Finally, if you hold less than 192 DOTs, you can still earn staking rewards by joining a nomination pool. You can learn more about those here: support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/7533743296797-How-to-join-a-Polkadot-nomination-pool?docs=true Hope this helps and please don't hesitate if you have any other questions!
Hey kind folks at Ledger, when will we get Kadena (KDA) on Ledger Live? I've heard rumors y'all are working on adding it. I need to pull my coins off the exchanges, bag is getting TOO big. 🤭🤭
Hey Ric - yes in fact you can already stake ALGO with your Ledger device by participating in the governance program managed by the Algorand Foundation. This program has not been implemented in Ledger Live yet but you should be able to sign up with your Ledger device directly via the Foundation website. You can find all the steps here: support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/7190123016605-Become-a-Governor-to-earn-Algorand-ALGO-staking-rewards?docs=true Let us know if you need anything else or have any issues signing up, we'd be happy to help!
This was a good video, thank you.
Thank you..Very well explain.
Great Video bro... Clear and to the point!
Very good tutorial. Super thanks!
Thank you , very well explained.
thanks Dan, well explained !
You're welcome, glad you liked the video 😁
Why do we get slashed (as a delegator) when the validator misbehaves, if the validator does not have our private keys (does not own our coins)?

@Ledger I would like to know why Ledger as a validator on Cosmos why Ledger doensn’t participate on vote proposals ?
Hey Ledger could you please tell us how to figure out yield for atom in ledger staking?

My question is there any max amount to stake with ledger or is there no limit?
Even using the 'compound' button, you still have to manually do it every so often? There is no way to 'auto compound' at a set interval?
Hi, could you explain a bit more about the issue you're experiencing, so that we can escalate this to our dev team for review.

If we staked with Ledger, are we eligible for airdrops in Cosmos as well?
Yes that is correct indeed. Staking your assets via Ledger will also get you airdrops since your assets are staked on the blockchain.
