Was curious if you'd find my old mans stringer full of fish I watched swim away from us as a kid. Didnt quit messing with it when he told me to and there they all went. Hahaha

We found dozens of kids' Zebco 303 or 202 fishing combos, anchors, boat motors, crank baits, and so many other things that people lost over the years, but no stringers with lots of fish.

What do the fish eat in the winter since there are no bugs or the lake freezes over?

The food chain is still active in the winter, eventhough the available insects and water bug populations are low or not there. There are snails, small fish, water plants, little bits and pieces of organic matter, and a few other small bugs or creatures that are still available. Most fish slow down in the winter so their dietary needs are also reduced slightly.

Smash the fish into the rocks to remove the hook, come on man-
