- Maher El Hajj became a follower of Jesus through a YFC Lebanon program in 1995. The ministry of YFCL had a big impact on his life. He was invited to join YFCL as a full time staff member in 2003. On January 2012, he took the role of National Director of YFC Lebanon. YFCL serves among Lebanese and Syrian refugee youth from different faith backgrounds to reach the marginalized and sometimes overlooked youth in his country.
Maher is passionate about reaching youth and seeing them saved and discipled. He is involved as well in training youth workers from the Middle East to see them equipped to reach the lost youth with the Gospel.

Jesus hear my prayers. As a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. But with the help of God and prayer, I know I can overcome anything. Heavenly Father I come to you today because I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. I’m struggling to do it all, and I feel so alone. Jesus I keep faith in you no matter what I face. Lord heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men. I Love you Jesus!

Understanding who Jesus is begins with recognizing Him as the Son of God, who came to Earth to show us God's love and to save us from our sins. Jesus taught us about love, compassion, and forgiveness through His words and actions. The Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." This verse highlights the depth of God's love for us and the importance of Jesus in bridging the gap between God and humanity.
Understanding who you are in relation to Jesus starts with acknowledging that we are all sinners in need of God's grace. Romans 3:23 tells us, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." But the beautiful part is that through Jesus, we can find forgiveness and a new identity as children of God. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we start to see ourselves and the world around us differently.
Fearing God doesn't mean being scared of Him. Instead, it's about having a deep respect and awe for His power and love. It's recognizing how great God is and how deserving He is of our trust, obedience, and worship.
To deepen your understanding and relationship with Jesus, spend time reading the Bible, praying, and connecting with a community of believers who can support and encourage you on your journey. Remember, this is a journey of a lifetime, and each step brings you closer to understanding the amazing love God has for you.
