Sam is an absolute master at crowd work. And in all seriousness, he could shoot a Netflix special called "Crowd Work" in which he does zero prepared material and just chats with the audience for 90 minutes. I have no doubt it would be awesome, and Sam could save a boatload of time writing new material.
Sam has good crowd work but saying he's the absolute master is pushing it, he is a far better joke writer than most comics out there but his crowd work isn't on a level like Schultz List Oakerson and Stavros to name but a few. I'm also glad to see American comics leaning in to crowd work as only 5 years ago it would of been thought of as "Hacky"
The line "so this is how Trump won right here," is such an insanely funny punchline. What a unique way to take that interaction. Your crowd work is one of the best.

Jim Carrey, on December 31st in Vancouver B.C DECIMATED a heckler with such effortless and seemingly casual offhandedness...it was BEAUTIFUL to see. I was 5 months pregnant (and HUGE at that stage) and I laughed so hard, I feared I would pee, but I was loathe to miss a second. There was a huge contingent of Hell's Angels (in full colours) at this particular show and the heckler was one of the motorcycle club. Carrey handled his escalating aggression with a confidence and playfulness which was....masterful. Of all his material, (which was highly entertaining) his interaction with the gangmember sticks in my mind as it impressed me the most. I doubt there was a recording of the show, but I would LOVE to revisit that experience.
