@@zzz43344 I'm not even considering it. Not my thing at all. How much do you wanna bet that it's a fairly linear, shallow, average game due to them utilizing the exercising stuff?
I'm not much of a gamer (although I do really enjoy most Nintendo games), but my husband is. He bought this game for himself, but I decided to give it a try. I must say, I really enjoyed it! I completed 4 levels last night, and I set it to Moderate. I am just the right level of sore, today. I can still move around and go about my day, but I can still tell that I worked out. The main reason I give up on exercise programs is because I get so sore that I dread them. I'm trying to make exercise more of a fun and positive experience.... and feeling too sore to stand up the next day is not fun! I would definitely recommend this game to anyone else who is out of shape and wants to be distracted while they exercise. hahaha
I really love the idea of incorporating workout into an RPG. It's about time. If only the game itself was executed at least a little better (dialogue, voice acting and story perhaps) but it's still interesting that I might get it to compensate on my sedentary lifestyle.
Now it's time for them to make a Fitness meets Fighting genre spin. Imagine pulling off simplified Smash-like attacks and blocks with your actual body and how intense that would be…
OK, this is all great, but when is ANYONE going to address the longevity of that ring before it becomes egg-shaped? I'm still looking for an answer to that one....
Its basically a normal pilates ring with slots for a joycon so it should be fine for years. Unless they cheaped out on the materials. Nintendo didn't invent it.
It gets so much better the further you are in to it. You start off with only a few exercises and I found it too easy. But then once you start unlocking things like knee lifts and advanced yoga poses you will feel the sweat running down your butt crack.
Yep! I was like, "I got this! Let me bump up the difficulty!" Worst timing as the game introduced new advanced poses and more involved jogging segments. I had a moment on the floor after doing those planks after the warrior poses. 😅
