I summon ONLY on anniversary, wwc, depending on the unit on tanabata and new years step ups. YOU ARE NOT GETTING 2500 STONES EASILY BETWEEN MAJOR CELEBRATIONS. When you have NO EXPERIENCE with that side of the game do NOT talk like you know

Honestly i hate how people go like "Save Save Save for anni/wwc never spend anywhere else" When its like althought you should save most of your stones because the main dokkanfest lrs obviously are the most important but like you also need a lot of other dokkan fests and stuff and i'm not talking about the newest ones but just dokkan fests that you dont own yet which usually dont appear on the biggest banners, You need them for missions and whatnot, However yeah its not difficult to save 2,5k stones, Not like it'll take you 2 weeks but its not that difficult, Done that a ton of times

Do the actual calculations per celebration to see how many stones we (F2P) get, and then think about how beneficial it’d actually be to skip that many banners in a row. Because you’re talking about a multitude of months of not summoning.

I'm F2P and we get alot. Just need to save it. About 500+ every new big release, skip smaller ones and pull on big celebrations. My box looks great both jp and global and both f2p
As a light spender on global f2p on jp. Just save. Big celebrations like this give 1k+ stones so as long as u have 1.5k *which is like 3-4 months* you can almost guarantee you get the pity by the end of the celebration. Also most banners are skips if u only summon on big celebrations then u get more value in ur box.
Dude we literally get like 300 stones as a minimum like every month just from logins and missions, then we get like several EZAs monthly and that's 33 stones a pop, and the not saving stones for years sounds like a personal issue lmao, stop waisting your stones and you'll have stones
Most of the banners are fodder units, if you have a little self control to save then yes, you can get a free celebration unit. Celebrations themselves also give hundreds if not thousands of stones. Its really not difficult to save that much.

Imagine doing literally NOTHING in the game for 5-6 months TWICE just to save for ONE copy for ONE of the Anni/WWC unit. And skipping 90% of everything throughout the year, because 70% of the featured units on these big banners are just old Anni/WWC LRs again. As an F2P , that sounds like a horrible way to have fun in the game and get burnout. I think we can admit it's mostly a W for dolphins,whales.
i would if you want to guarantee you have 2.5 stones by end of 10th anniversary you need to start to save after wwc. but you forget you get extras more coins and if you have played many years you have most old banner units rainbowed or most of aged feature units from banner so you could be at 500 coins before 2k stone point even.

Ani and wwdc give 1k ds just save 80-90% of the stones u get and u will atleast get 2.5k every time

Keep in mind that if you don't summon and pull some of these characters that pop up on in between banners, a lot of the extreme type characters you missed out on are are absolute MUST RUNS. Datruth tried to make it simple when in reality it's a pretty difficult task considering you'll only be saving for 2-3 celebrations a year. Sucks to be completely f2p

I used to summon only twice a year. Because of that, there were many, many units I never pulled until they returned on EZA banners and I could coin them. If I did the same thing nowadays, I wouldn't be able to complete over half of these missions, and I'd struggle greatly in hard content. Saving half the year for a guarantee of 1 unit if ridiculous. I don't know why people are framing this as pity-it's not. It's whale bait.

It is good for people who buy stones or are paid players with packs and stuff. In all my years of playing this game using your advice on skipping most banners, the most I have had is for 9th anniversary which was 1800.
2500 stones every six months, since that is when every big celebration happens, is completely impossible. They do give out a lot, but not that much.
And they also drop 4 new major characters people have to summon on every anni and wwdc. 2500 is too much, it should be either 1500, 1250 or you should be able to use red/carnival coins to buy them.

@@somerandomchad469 Doesn't matter. The problem is that 2500 is way too high. Even the FGO, known to (formerly) have the worst pity system in all of Gacha, is less than half of that. This isn't pity, it's incentive for global whales to keep whaling knowing with the loss of discounts and tickets.

Like, legends makes players do 40 multis before getting the character with pity (with dokkan its 50), but dokkan gives out a lot more multi summons to players during big celebrations than Legends

You’re not saving 2500 stones ftp in between these dual celebration banners. Maybe 900 if you’re playing daily. The pity system is for the whales to encourage you to keep spending and maybe because they feel bad that you’re spending 1k or so to get a card on a mobile game
I have 3k stones for 9th anni you can save and you get lots it's not hard

50 Multi pity is ridiculous, and you know it. We have a worse pity system than FGO (30 multi pity) and 2500 is a crazy ask. You'd have to be a dolphin or whale to have that much or basically not summon for 6+ months to save up that much. Summoning maybe twice a year would kill the game for F2P players. It should've been 1k stones or 200 coins the same way it is for Yellow Coin LRs because that's at least achievable multiple times in the same year.

If u save for like 3 months including the ds u get from major celebrations the pity is easy to get for them. Also what missions are u struggling on? Only mission that comes to mind is the extreme class one they are 5 stones aren’t even that hard.

It’s kinda crazy how much better this year has been compared to last year. Last year just felt like a lot of randomness and weird releases where either the unit was meh or good but had no help. Obviously there were some good units that came out that were instantly good, but this year has hit on everything. Maybe not first form frieza but who knows, we could get a namek celebration or get another frieza later in the year and that’d buff him
I play with sound on specifically for celebrations like these, it has a very positive effect on my enjoyment personally

6:00 like the 10th anni that we have in 4 months? 300 is a pretty common metric on a per month basis (which I'm not even getting btw) that's not even enough stones if we start saving AT THIS VERY MOMENT.
Even if you summoned on the anni banners and skipped the extra banners between then and now on global you will NOT have 2500 stones, no way, and dokkan know that they would not make it that straight forward.

I don't think it's a 100% guarantee that the part 2 LRs are going to be available with pity coins. I certainly hope it's the case but we can't just assume.

Personally my issue with the 2500 is that they wanted to do that right after 3 Massive Dokkan releases for Global. To say that players should skip 9th anniversary, UI TEQ Goku, Cell Max (ALL BAVK TO BACK) is completely idiotic as they are the top 5 characters in the game at the time and roughly still are. That’s my issue with it, they could have been at least generous and halved the amount for THIS celebration and return it to 2500 afterwards moving forward
But to say a F2P player will have 2500 after this massive releases and Necessary units (Broly, Cell Max, Gohan, UI TEQ Goku) is shallow

I literally didnt pull anything all year until anni and the global gauntlet before this wwc. Ive been using 23rd wt goku all year until I got beast,gogeta,teq ui, cell max, and the new broly. all the ezas weve gotten this year i got rainbow or 79. This year by all acounts was lookin grim but here we are. My newest unit this year was android 21 I pulled summoning for int buu or whichever banner it was.
If we do get bio broly maybe they could eza the physical kid goten and trunks and finally make them viable

This has been the best yesr for dokkan for players in general.
Just sucks other games now have so many purchases in game. So all of these gacha games have caught up to dokkan so its harder to hit top grossing as much. Some of these games have insane users that spend so much money at all times. So we cant compare top grossing to what it used to be since so many games have this stuff now.
I 100% agree with the top grossing why give it first for the jp top grossing then give another for the global because then it make jp players also look at global doing good in a positive light

not necessarily even 2500 for f2p. If you been playing for a long time you prolly have almost all the banners units and side units rainbowed so you can convert them into coins.

This is gonna be a rough year for global players trying to save. Usually we skip most of the banners between January to anni. We now have anni in like 4 months plus all the end of the year stuff and what's going to happen with heros this year. Daima content will be must summons as well. I'm not complaining, but trying to get at least 1 dupe of units is probably gonna have to stop for a while
