I look every time in him the same deep eyes of his uncle and his music has the taste of italian past. Your story is very sad I'm very sorry for you, but I will never forget, I will try to keep to attention to the Master, but you must promise to never give up! Imagine how many times he must've played this piece (and all others) when at concerts or practising for them. And you can still see the emotions on his face when playing this, and that really shows through the music. Truly a spectacular composer and a profounding piece of music.
And every single time it's at least ever so slightly different. Sometimes it's drastically different from the original recorded album version, like it is here. I don't think I've ever heard Ludo play the exact same song twice live.
when you know a song well enough it never sounds the same any time you play it. atleast it is for me, because my emotions take some control in that moment when you know it well enough and you dont have to think about it.
Alexander Dederer my progression has been really fast, since I already know how to play the guitar, so I know the theory. But I still can’t play any of Ludovico’s songs, but I’m soon going to!
La ascoltai e me ne innamorai, mi aiuto' molto in quei 34 giorni.
I think about playing music like acting in a way. I’m a percussionist. A big reason we play triangle up high is because if people can see it they will “hear” it better. It would probably be fine down low, but we all hold them up. When I practice sure there are times I play really dry but when I know I’ve got a performance, I have to channel my emotions to put out what needs to play for the piece. For me mental imagery is vital. Its the same reason I can listen to songs I’ve heard a thousand times and they will still make me feel a certain way if I’m in the right mood.
I have listened to thousands of songs and I have never, never heard of such a beautiful song. I can spend my whole life listening to this masterpiece. Anyone can relate ?
The Master playing his masterpiece and touching immortality. At this performance level, music becomes art. And art becomes pure inspiration. A privilege to hear it.
@@duon3739 He played it like a novice, he might just be old thats reasonable for me, but what he did he did it and it was done wrong, im not mad but he did it wrong and im not gonna change my mind.
The best part about is that even though it has no lyrics everyone hears them. But everyone hears 𝖽𝗂𝖿𝖿𝖾𝗋𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝗅𝗒𝗋𝗂𝖼𝗌, their OWN lyrics. And that’s what I love most about all Ludovicos pieces. They speak to your heart. Maybe u won’t believe me, but Ludovicos music saved my life. If it weren’t for his music, I probably wouldn’t be here writing this comment. with love from Slovakia
There is a clip on RUclips with Eunaldi playing the piano whilst a woman sings in Italian. The Google translator does such a poor job that the lyrics make no sense..
@@SonnaC91 no it's not, it doesn't mean shit, it's opposite thing that you should do with the parts of yourself that you hate, don't love/accept it, fucking fix it.
Just wanted to thank Einoudi for this song. My dog, who sadly passed away yesterday, always came and sat under the piano when I played this. He loved your music, and I’m glad I got to play your songs to him on his last day 😢. Thank you for everything you have written, it will always have a special place in our hearts ❤
It's weird how there are no lyrics to this song but it still speaks to you. Heck, if you listen to it long enough you'll start hearing actual words. And no I'm not high. Lol
He’s so clever that it’s written in such a way that when you learn it and play it you can put your own emotion and individuality into it. The piece is just beautiful
Such a simple song in musical terms but absolutely nobody could play it the way Ludovico does. I seen him live last week, hands down the best performance I’ll ever see in my lifetime. Felt every note.
If you listen to the Spotify version it has a few different notes with different timings. This one is better though, it feels more.. alive. The Spotify one feels so scripted and almost mechanical. Sure it's done exactly as it's wrote but doesn't seem to have the emotion this version does.
I've listened to this song many times and i still don't know how to explain how this song makes me feel... it's sad, relaxing, alone, happy, friendly, warm... THIS IS A MASTERPIECE!!!!! I'm also a self taught pianist and it's hard to learn this song. I've been trying to play this for about a year now and i won't give up until i can play this, i love this too much
You'll get there.. i learned it myself in a half year and suddenly i started playing it with my eyes closed.. it is truly a masterpiece and im so in love with it
You can do it. This is the first song I taught myself to play, and it took me a year of daily practice but I did it. Now I still play it every time I sit at the piano, maybe thousands of times already. Each time it still feels amazing to see that I can make such beautiful music sing from my piano. All thanks to Ludovico Einaudi.
I don’t want to be offensive but if you play and learn by ear then that’s really good but if not may I suggest the plutax tutorials they really helped me :) xx
@@sarah_c2591 Plutax is good and I learned Nuvole Bianche from Rousseau. I know what you mean when you say that you have trouble playing both hands together. I did too, especially the middle part. In the end, I managed it because I slowed down to literally one note a second, just practiced pressing the right notes on both hands together at the same time, as slowly as I could without breaking the rhythm. It was really slow lol but it worked! And that's pretty much how I practice difficult passages now. I'm currently learning the Star Wars theme as arranged by Patrik Pietschmann, which is really, really fast, but when you slow things down its really easy. Speed up when you are comfortable with the notes and your muscle memory has been built up. All the best!
The biggest pianist of 21st century. His skills are insane, how he's enjoying every single note. The composition of Nuvole Bianche is biggest masterpiece for long time, but the way this man plays it is absolutely different level.
wtf how is him the biggest pianist of the 21th century tho I agree one of the best new age composers for sure. A lot of dudes that listen to classical music, especially the most complex side of it like Xenakis, Takemitsu, Messiaen or composers alike get all snobby with this kind of music for some reason. That needs to end.
@@solarean listen, everything has its own sides... Xenakis, takemitsu, I appreciate all of them.. but Ludovico is Ludovico... Like Mozart isn't comparable to Beethoven, similarly you shouldn't be comparing him to other artists.. Ludovico mainly composes music which describes his aspects towards nature and life. Other composers may have a different pov while composing. Nuvole bianche is one the masterpiece of the 21st century so far according to all those who agree with it. This opinion might vary from person to person form place and time to time... So no point in debating who's the greatest. Ludovico is the best of what he is and we love him for that.
Two years ago, I started learning piano for a girl. I spent 5 months learning this song, and at the end I found out that my true love was the piano. Ludovico's music has had such an impact on my life because of the way he expresses emotion in his music. I'm not very good at expressing how I feel verbally, but now I can describe exactly how I feel with the songs I compose and play. I'm leaving this comment to express gratitude. Thank you for creating this tutorial and launching me into a life of music. Edit: some of y'all really be making me question my faith in humanity with how dense you are. I mean I fell in love with playing piano, not a literal piano.
He's an amazing ARTIST and very good PERSON, I met him personally in Dubai..I worked on the roof of Dubai Opera...one day came in the restaurant and I recognize him and I asked him a photo..of course he was very very gentle and I took a photo with him. Really an amazing person, full of heart!!!
I genuinely think that music is the language of the gods, that's why it speaks to us in ways we can't understand. It grips our souls and leaves us totally helpless.
What I find is fascinating is how his facial expressions convey so many emotions and feelings. This is one of my favourite songs of all time and he performs it so well. His face says more than any lyrics ever could ❤️
I literally bought a piano because i heard a street performer play a rendition of this song in the streets of Prague. At the time, I had no idea what song this was or who was playing it on the streets. 3 yrs later and the magic of the internet I started a RUclips search of “piano prague player” (or something similar) and found the street performer on video. From there I somehow got linked to a post on Facebook which said who the performer was. I found his website, reached out asking what the beautiful song he was playing that faithful night (luckily i had a video recording of about 10 seconds of the song). He replied... Nuvole Bianche. And here we are now listening to this and a piano in a corner that I have no idea how to play. Time to change that!
Amigo - I enjoyed reading your comment. I just know exactly how you feel, it‘s just fantastic how music reaches us individual people all in the same way. After years of love to the piano, especially to this piece and dreaming of playing it one day with my two left hands on my own, I bought myself a piano 2018 and began to learn playing it step by step. Today I‘m just proud I did it. This was one of the best choices of my life. Listening to it had been already deep because I loved it so much, playing it especially with the right mood is just an inexplicable experience out of this world. In the way you talk about it and what you spent to find out how the name was, I can see the same deep inspiration for it I felt, too. Do what is necessary, a piano is already there and step by step you will enjoy the same awesome energy while playing it on yourself. Every second of the effort is worth it, trust me 👏🏼. Lots of love 🌍
I’m not someone who cries easily, and this song made me tear up. There’s just so much emotion in it that it just hits you. I can’t describe how it makes me feel. There’s a sadness and I feel like almost a longing feeling to it, yet at some parts it’s as if you’re moving on from that feeling. Thank you Ludovico for this beautiful piece. 🙏
I discovered Einaudi through this song eight hours ago. A lucky accident....makes me wonder about emotion, destiny, time, and the small pauses where we completely lose ourselves to an artist's vision. My love to everyone reading this.
what's interesting about his performances is that he always varies his songs *just a little bit* to where the songs are the same, but you get to experience them again

There is nothing in this life that I want to do more than hear Einaudi live with my mom. His music touched me years ago when I was going through a really dark period, and then I introduced him to my mom recently when she was going through her own dark times. We both feel his music in our souls. A truly special musician. EDIT: We have tickets to see him next month, at the Royal Albert Hall no less - two bucket list goals for both of us. I am a teenager and people my age do not listen to classical music, but I have always loved playing the piano and listening to classical music, from an early age. I spent a period away from this wonderful instrument and I have to thank Ludovico Einaudi for making me rediscover what an enormous emotion it is to play the piano. E scoprire

You just know when a person, knows the piano. and this man really knows the piano. There's a difference between playing the piano and having a connection with the piano
I dont know who he is, and I will listen to more of his piano. With that said, this sound really basic, basic chords, basic (and rather monotonous) melodies, something that any average piano player could play.
@@scoob1636 The way he has touched so many people with this piece just goes to show that it isn't about the difficulty. Yes, an average player probably could play it, but there is something about the way he does that really touches you!

This song to me is a wistful hopefulness. Akin to witnessing the sun rise again after experiencing a great tragedy. Signifying another beginning, while still recognizing and remembering the past.
What I love so much about ludovico's pieces is they leave so much room for personal interpretation. It's like you can tell what a person is like by the way he or she plays one of these pieces. Everyone plays them different, but Einaudi playing them himself is something else.
The way he decided to play this variation is a masterclass showing in a quote from Mozart: “The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between.” Choosing to outright cut some notes off from the piece just makes this piece so much more impactful. It kind of reminds me fleeting things in life tend to be. Here in one moment, gone in the next, but not not in a remorseful way.. one to have been happy to have been there at all.
When you watch him play it’s like he’s not even there, it’s like he’s reliving a memory of a time that he felt joy, love, happiness, and fulfillment and then the song is over and he opens his eyes and remembers he’s not where is memory was, and instant disappointment. Very emotional process, beautiful.
It's like a beautiful dream. Your music takes me into the forests, deep down the sea, fly over the mountains and lay in beds of flowers. It takes me to every beautiful place on this earth. That's the power of your creations. Thank you so much for all the happiness you bring.
Ludovico and his music is the sole reason I play the piano. He is such an amazing person; to have the ability to elicit such emotion and to inspire myself and countless others is a sublime trait to have. I have tried to convey this gratitude on the odd occasion that I have met him, but words can never do the love I have for him justice. Just one example of his amazing heart..... I waited to meet him after a concert in Munich back in March just gone. Freezing snow and sleet meant that I was by myself in wanting a photo and autograph. When he came out, and instead of running for the cover in his taxi he brought be back inside so that he could sign my piano score properly. We had such an amazing chat, much to annoyance of his driver who was eager to leave. Instead of listening to him, he made him take a photo of us together . Ludovico was such a gentleman. He didn't have to do that, nor did he have to take interest in my music. He was genuinely flattered and humbled when I showed him my 1st performance on stage playing Underwood and Low mist. Those words of encouragement will live with me forever. 10mins was all it took for him to literally make my dreams come true. People often say, don't meet your heroes. They never live up to your expectations, but I can honestly say that this man is not like any other. He is without doubt one of the most beautiful human beings ever! As you can probably tell, I am just a little bit infatuated with him. Luckily, my wife understands that LOL
@@thabanggaolefeloe8937 Just bought a cheap full size keyboard, watched a few youtube tutorials (of which there are many for Ludo fans!) and started writing shorthand notes. 10 years later, I'm still enamoured with Einaudi's songs but now I'm composing songs inspired by Einaudi too, still using my shorthand mind but on actual piano staffs now. I have a library of music scores of Einaudi's back catalogue, probably only legible to myself lol. A big tip, 1st break down each song to manageable parts, then learn each part independently for the right and left hand and again for the 3rd time together. This allows the muscle memory to build so when you play both hands together, they blend seamless. It goes without saying that without copious amounts of practice, you will never achieve the standard you aim for. Good luck mate.
I cannot express in words how this piece of music makes me feel. Never in my life have I felt such raw emotion. I don’t know what to do with it. I just can’t handle it.
When you realize what music is all about... This music is about me, about you, about everyone, about mankind, it's the past, the present and future, it's about our little planet on the huge galaxy that sits on the endless universe...
I'm gonna cry when he dies. I can't believe that he's so old and still makes music. And that's a good thing. He should keep music in his heart until the end. And I may just do the same

It's really beautiful when you check the comments below, and you have people from all around the world listening to this masterpiece. MAESTRO! GRAZIE!

Such a simple song in musical terms but absolutely nobody could play it the way Ludovico does. I seen him live last week, hands down the best performance I’ll ever see in my lifetime. Felt every note.
I saw him too in liverpool.just amazing isnt he ❤
If you listen to the Spotify version it has a few different notes with different timings.
@@amelia1716 i use that tutorial but it's hard for me to play the left and right hand together, but thank you :)
Indeed, no matter how hard I try I cannot bring that same emotion into the piece, it eludes me .
wtf how is him the biggest pianist of the 21th century
tho I agree one of the best new age composers for sure.
The biggest pianist of the 21st century ?? Come on!!
insane skills? Lol

GO on!! tell us the journey

È come l'alba che sorge sorge
e ancora sorge
dentro quei pugni chiusi.
Custodiamo
L'anime.
Dobbiamo togliere le mani dalle tasche,
e aprire il pugno
e guardare dentro alla mano..
E scoprire

There's a difference between playing the piano and having a connection with the piano

The way he decided to play this variation is a masterclass showing in a quote from Mozart:
“The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between.”
Choosing to outright cut some notes off from the piece just makes this piece so much more impactful.

I love this man! When i discovered him I could not stop playing his music. My grandchild goes to sleep with this. So peaceful! So very beautiful
Fantastic. He is feeling every note. Beautiful song. Beautiful instrument. But the way he is playing it gives goosebumps...
Same here when I heard him play I fell in love with him and his pieces. I too play piano but never this good!!!
He is pushing me there too brother. How did you start playing?
Wonderful.
Nadeem Einaudi will have to be your new name 😂 what a wonderful story!
I cannot express in words how this piece of music makes me feel. Never in my life have I felt such raw emotion. I don’t know what to do with it. I just can’t handle it.
Look up experience by him. Each of his pieces is it's own but experience is my favorite
Just close your eyes and feel the music 🎼 🎵 🎶
Makes you feel free and happy ❤
When you realize what music is all about... This music is about me, about you, about everyone, about mankind, it's the past, the present and future, it's about our little planet on the huge galaxy that sits on the endless universe...
It is only his hands that suit this song... Absolute Masterpiece..
I'm gonna cry when he dies. I can't believe that he's so old and still makes music. And that's a good thing. He should keep music in his heart until the end. And I may just do the same
He’s 66…
@@ArmyWifeK he is
I'm from Peru ... Einaudi is here and in all countries.
I love the progression and how he builds the theme. Absolutely gorgeous…

@@eduardoalmeda3424
Gracias.... aquí buscando mi paz interior que tanto anhelo.
Just look at the passion in the man's eyes. The passion in his facial expressions. He speaks words through his music. Simply breathtaking ❤
