This songs explains why lyrics are not always necessary. One of the most beautiful piano songs ever written.
Antonio Schuck I always open this song and come back to your comment :)
I’m here again, hihi
Antonio Schuck agreed
you mean never necessary
I always think lyrics are necessary if it is to be called a 'song'. In my view, songs are sung. If there are no lyrics then it is a tune or an instrumental.
My father died in 1997 and was a brilliant pianist. He would have loved this. Love you Dad xxxx
A tear for your dad.
:') lot of love Pippa
god bless him ...
The beauty of this music points to the higher beauty of Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross for vile sinners, and on the 3rd day he rose from the grave, defeating sin, death and the devil !
"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of us. But we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Cor .9-11)
"To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood" (Rev 1.5)

I searched this song for 10 years and I finally found today... truly a good day!
I herad this in one of an Indian telecom airtel ad in 2010 ... it got stuck in my head immediately .. I never knew this was a real song and not just a tv ad song. I used to play this in my head... I found it today and I am going to listen to it entire my life ...
@@joybangla4657 oh I listened the song you suggested.. I loved the arijit voice... The song is completely copied from this tune.. Funny 🤣

I’ve never seen a pianist that makes such a simple song so incredibly beautiful
Avez vous déjà regardé et écouté Yanni?
Listening to this song is like listening to a story that only your own mind can tell you.
+Joseph Cacciatore Yes, Sir Joseph!
+Joseph Cacciatore The most accurate description of the piece. It truly does.
Tucker Rhodes lol, thanks! It's such a fantastic piece!
True
with your permission am gonna use your words for my whatsapp status...hehe...soo true 👍
This man must have a very pure beautiful clear soul to produce music like this
edwardquan no he learned arpeggios but its still nice
it's often the ones with chaos produce order; who knows what's hidden in his brain.
Music is about life, it's difficult to convey so much emotion without having experienced it. Sometimes beauty comes from our pain.
People quite often forget thousands of hour of study and work that get you here. It is not life or pure soul unfortunately, but clear precise mind with focus, passion and dedication to create beautiful things. Not that that excludes life experiences and a beautiful soul.
Perfect. I played this for my Grandma's funeral as everyone walked in, many years ago I can still see the memories of her playing with me, smiling at me and for all the wonderful things a Grandma does and this track let me visualize every single detail. Thankyou for this x
it's very touching(
😢😢
I think I'll have this played at my funeral, but the problem is I'll have no one to see me off. My family hate me and I have no family of my own. I'm enjoying this beautiful music now.

The comment section of every Einaudi's song is like youtube's heaven, no hating, everyone loving, enjoing the music and asking themselves how anyone in this world could dislike a song like this.
Absolutely sir
probably miley cyrus fans...
Yeah, that's right! It's a pleasure to read the comments in Einaudi ' s videos. ☺

I’ve been playing ludovico’s music since I discovered him at 14 or 15 years old. I played this song (along with oltremare) at my very last piano recital. It was the only recital my father didn’t attend, as he had passed a few months before. It was incredibly difficult but I felt the music pouring from my heart and everything else faded away. I could just feel my dad was there that day, he loved hearing me play (even when I was 5 years old playing Yankee Doodle over and over :p). Ludovico’s music has gotten me through rough years and allowed me to express my emotions when I couldn’t put them to words and he’s forever my hero for giving me such a gift
Hi Natalie.. You're so beautiful 🥺🌻 I wanna cry 😭 on your lap.

Music is the language of the soul ❤️🇳🇿
The title of the piece is perfect. It sounds like one is reminiscing about how "those were the days" - cherished memories of lost time we can never get back.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
"I Giorni" in Italian means "The Days", so you are correct!
he is the one pianist that made me starting piano at 44, such grace, harmony like touched by the divine.
oh, 🙂 same here, i'm 41 now and Ludovico Einaudi's music is so magical! Can't describe what i feel, when i listen to his music. Greetings from switzerland 🙃
I am really interested in learning piano however I was holding back because I think it's too late for me to start studying it. Thanks for your comment! It changed my mind. ☺️
@@darahparato9993 i hope you have started now
Same here 45.
I am 47 & want to learn.
Thank God for music like this
beautiful , absolute perfect
That's because God instructed people like Ludovico Einaudi to play it for us. With music like this you get a much clearer vision of what's really possible.
So i was driving down the m1 one afternoon listening to classical fm...this piece came on and i was like wow....forgot what its was called and couldnt find it....2 weeks later classical fm and its played again...this time jogged it down and downloaded...played it at home to my then girlfriend who loved it....my then girlfriend decided she would love to walk down the aisle to it....so she did and she is now my wife....did it for us guys...give it a try
if you have a smart phone download "shazam" when you hear a track you like the sound of then just press listen and 9 times out of ten it will tell you what it is, it will also store the tracks that you have shazamed, hope this helps
Omd! That's awesome. Also funny because I have only just found this song and I have been searching for it for ages!!! I heard it on classic FM, as well, but I typed the wrong name on my notes. Glad to see someone gets the struggle! This is one of my favourite pieces.
Me too
Beautiful story 💕
I'm 15 and listen to classic fm no one else my age does. But to me classic is the best type of music there is. Oh and I happen to travel down the m1 so I can relate haha
Just a man and a piano.... outstanding!
👏
As a record producer I come across countless pieces of music, sounds, vocals, melodies and songs. In all my years I have never come across a piece of music that has moved me like this. The story it tells in ones mind is one of joy, hope, a future. This now more than ever, resonates with us all in these Covid times. We need hope, we need to feel there is a caring arm around our shoulder, guiding us through this dark tunnel towards that little glint of light we can all see. It is the beautiful melodies and those bass notes that really hit home. A simply majestic piece of music that has bought me to tears thinking of my Mam who left us 31st Jan 2019 without warning. All the hidden and built up emotions have come pouring out of me, floods of tears but it feels cathartic as if my Mam is sat here with me enjoying it. She was a wonderful pianist and got a place at London College Of Music when she was 15 and living in a small village in Wales x
I love the way he looks at his piano
seagoth I hope someday I find someone that looks at me like he looks at his piano
Einaudi is like cocaine...people love it and always seem to want more of it, but at the end of the day it's boring, overrated and uninspiring.
In more specific terms, he exhibits zero creativity in his writing, sticking to arpeggiated poppy chord sequences and so-saccharine-your-teeth-will-fall-out melodies, and it personally doesn't do anything for me. I can't tell any of his pieces apart, and when something comes on the radio I just know it's by him and that I don't like it. He's like a bad Michael Nyman, if that were possible.
@@nilen sometimes we need some simple piano music.
After that, we can listen again to King Arthur by Henry Purcell.
@Dua Lipa Exactly. Man tried to go off but we know Ludo's style.
He played the whole song with his eyes closed. That shows his passion and love for it.
Has anyone else noticed how subtle and understated the whole video. The music is beautiful and passive, the lighting perfectly pitched, and Einaudi's hands just glide over the keyboard in a ripple of tireless movement - no pretentious flicks or self-absorbed facial expressions. Just a composer, and his music in perfect harmony.
I never would usually put anything like this but I just need to let it out. I've just lost a friend tonight who has sadly passed on to heaven. This one is for you. RIP CS
My condolences
May god bless him and you....
I'm sorry to hear about your dad
The beauty of this music points to the higher beauty of Jesus Christ!
Are you a good person?
Are you 100% sure you will go to heaven when you die?
Or would you go to hell?
Christianity is filled with bad news and good.
Masturbation is wrong. Heterosexual Sex before marriage is
wrong is also wrong.
If you
have committed fornication, then you’re guilty of breaking GOD’s Law, and you deserve conscious hell fire forever.
But GOD
loves you and sent his sinless Son to be tortured, and die on the Cross, taking
the punishment for sinners. 3 days later, Jesus rose from the Grave.
You MUST
turn from your sins (stop sinning), and obey Jesus, and love him with
all your
soul, heart, mind and strength.
If you
became a Christian, you will receive
1.
forgiveness of sins, your sins and guilt will be blotted out,
2. GOD himself
will dwell inside you,
3. God will remove your heart
of stone and give you a new heart and a new spirit.
3. your
name will be written in the Lambs book of Life,
4. you
will enter the new Earth,
5. and
you will see GOD's face.
Otherwise
you will be judged guilty, and tortured forever.
This is
true, whether you believe it or not. Your blood be on your own head.
You’ve
been lovingly warned. Now you have no excuse for your sin.
Jay John no god loves us and if you really believe that your "loving warning" makes no sense
1. 2. 3. 3. 4. 5.......and this is what uneducated faith looks like.
You can see him living his music and that tells you everything. Perfection.
I am hearing this, during the pandemic. Never in my entire life have I felt so alone, as I do right now. I miss how the world used to be. Miss meeting new people, miss being with the ones I love, miss giving them that extra tight hug for no reason.. Well yeah. This social isolation .. :-(
Stay strong xx
The trees and plants are our family too.Reach out to them.💚They want us to reconnect with them 🌿
Hope you're OK Ben. Not long now until the world opens up again. Take care xx
You are not alone....God is very near.
He is close to the broken hearted.
His Word says that He is not far from any one of us....seek Him while He can be found....seek Him with all your heart and He will be found by you.
He loves you.
He died for you.
His name is Jesus...💕

I was at my son's piano recital yesterday. One of the other children in the recital, a girl around 12 years old, played this. It was the first time I've ever heard it. My eyes started tearing up. Sometimes music has a way of catching you off guard, and it's a nice feeling.
Absolutely, what a way to explain it
Yes
Like when you fart in a hot tub?
She then played well
I don't know why, but I'm crying my heart out while listening to this 😭
The reason is you have a heart
It’s because it’s a beautifully emotive piece of music that plays straight to your heart.
It's beauty. It's gets to us all. Feels so good.
Because your a Empath , nothing wrong with feeling true Emotions. We are all one❤🎉😊
This song is a true masterpiece. To me, it tells the story of two young strangers who bumped into each other, started talking, became friends, fell in love. However, circumstances changed, and one of them had to move away. The relationship became long distance, and although things were okay at first, eventually it grew thin. They decided it was best to move on and focus on their lives independently. Years later, they coincidentally bumped into each other in the same place where they first met. They share the years that passed and of their careers and their own family.
I could watch this man play all day, everyday, for the rest of my life and never grow tired of a single note. If this is the only music I ever hear again, I would be contented.
Anina Jansen u can see the emotion in his face- a story untold-

Realmente
I played this piece for my A Level assessment. I am very grateful my teacher recommended me this beauty of song. She gave me the choice to switch to another piece if I wanted to, but I said this one was the one I wanted to play. The reason I did this was because I was trying to cope with my dog's death (maybe you may say it's ridiculous but he meant a lot to me, we've been together for 7 years, since I was 12). Every time I play this song, it makes me remember him and I know he is up there, watching me from heaven. 😔😢
I’m really sorry for your loss :( Hope you feel better soon!!
Awww , my pooch was my best friend so I know how you feel .❤
It's not ridiculous, dogs are family too. So sorry for your loss xx
I'm so grateful I have learned to play this masterpiece. It helps my grief for my older brother I lost 2 months ago, I'm 19 and he was 26, about to turn 27...💔
RIP🙏🙏
I Giorni is not just a song, it is a wonderful piece of art. There is people who play this piece, and then there's people who actually PLAY the song. It absorbs so much emotion from me when I play it, and I just become completely unaware of my surroundings as my hands glide across the piano. I actually change the way I play it depending on my feelings, and I absolutely love it....definitely one of my favourite pieces of art ever brought onto this planet!!
So true and I Believe ..People will still be Listening to this in A Thousand years time (that's if we haven't destroyed ourselves)....
What u wrote has hit home ♡ i love piano so much and it makes me so sad that i cant play it
It is so beautiful! A true artist is someone who can make you feel something with or without words, and that is what he does.
Actually it’s not a song but okay
cry nosoul if it makes you so sad why don’t you learn it?
This rips me into shreds, it reignites a memory i suppressed, feelings i forgot, a love long lost, the first love, the pain of parting, the pain of thousand things unsaid, and years of becoming apathetic to suppress that loss, this ignites that melancholy, that heaviness of the heart , it makes me feel alive again, that pain makes me feel alive, it reminds me of precious memories and my sins, it reminds me of the love i was capable of, it reminds me that i am human
Animesh Kapoor I love your poetic comment!
You have said what is hard to put into words. Soulful peace.
You said what I wanted to say too
Animesh that is so beautifully put. Thank you :)

This song is going to be played at my Grandfather’s funeral next week. He loved this piece. Thank you Einaudi for writing such amazing music!
He is the piano boss. Life is not worthy without listening to your music. Love from Bangladesh!!!

what i love about this piece is it always involks a sense of nostalgia in me.
Thoughts about places i've been, people i've been with, and nothing extravagant....just memories about times around a table enjoying a good meal with people I'm close to, or sitting on a beach with my friends.
For me, it's a song of just remembering all those wonderfull little moments that makes life good.
My daughter played this for her piano recital and I have been in love with this song ever since. Thank you Elisa for the limitless beauty you have brought to my life.
You forget everything for 7 Minutes

Yes. Some songs have the power of do we think about our lifes and realize that living is much simple than what we're was doing, and go there and solve our problems much easier than before, and that motivates us.
This man is a gift to mankind
Voli Boi how?
The unique stop pause and start, is all I hear so unique it's as if he delivers a message and gives you the moment to reflect what beauty he just produced it's a feeling inside like an understanding without any need for words! Magical, enchanting! I'm hooked!
I believe Ludovico Einaudi is the best composer of our century. This music touches the deepest strings of your soul, makes me cry, when you can see all your life with all its pain, mistakes, grief, sorrows and yet ...hope that the best that is still waiting for you.Thank you, Maestro, for giving this hope!
Ludovico brings so much emotions with all of his creations. It is the best, I love it very very much.
"Yeah im going to need you to"...not express such articulate emotions that makes this music so filled with humanity.
I am completely in love with this wonderful man's talent and ability to move me. After a difficult day he's my answer to relaxation on the drive home. Quite contemplation of the beauty of life. I am thankful for all I have even the bad days. Others go through far worse just to survive every day so who am I that I complain about a bad work day? I'm very fortunate to have found this man's talent to make me realize just how lucky I am. Wishing him continued success.
Salvatore Lauro me too haha :) it's great to find someone that understands even if they speak through their music, I wish everyone a wonderful day !
Salvatore Lauro I share this with you. Beautiful music helps me see beauty and happiness in my life thank you for understanding as well
This song reminds of my childhood innocence. Idk why but I can just feel it. I can really feel it especially at 1:23. It reminds me of how I fiind happiness through simple things ; it reminds me of the lullabies my parents used to sing to me; it reminds me of those days when i was younger- when life was simple...
The good old days...
I came here from Wattpad. An author recommended this to us to listen because this was part of a chapter in her story, so I gave it a try and WOW, I understand the protagonist's feelings when he said he felt calm when he was listening to this. I love it❤️

I walked down the Isle to this music aged 70. No better to capture the essence of life.
I can nearly hear the Italian rhythm of speaking in his music. No words yet I feel the language...remarkable.
. Non ho parole.. Sei un grande uomo.
This song is so beautiful and powerful It's kinda like he's playing you a story that only you know.. ❤️
That's EXACTLY how I felt about it as well! Amazing! 😍
The perfect way of putting it. I've recently found this piece and have been blown away by how much it has helped me.
This has always stopped me in my tracks. When it plays I have to stop what I'm doing and just listen. It's an incredible piece.
This man's heart sincerely resides in his fingers. Every upwelling note yearning for you to feel what he feels. Cannot appreciate this enough.
His genius is his apparent simplicity, when less is truly more!
I can play this song, but no matter how hard I try, it is impossible to play piano like Ludovico Einaudi
Callum Donovan practice with your headphones on
Kento01 It's not that, he just has a feeling in his music that is impossible to replicate.
Callum Donovan oh, do you enjoy the music when playing?
Of course! It's a wonderful piece to play!
same here this i can play this its my favorite piece on the piano
This hits home. Used to listen to this back in final year uni, during early hours of the morning revising, dissertation deadline looming and this playing lightly in the background, what a gem!
This man made me go out buy a piano and play it everyday since, only been about 18 months and I have no where near the talent of this man, but I wanted to play and feel his music so badly I just kept going, slowly making less and less mistakes, before long it felt natural, I knew the notes without having to think, my forearms and fingers no longer ached, and I could close my eyes and just play whatever sounded and felt right at the time. I think for most of us the enjoyment and emotions felt just playing to ourselves is all we need, after all that's why most of us started playing,
love this ... my daughter learned to play this when she was 14 had me in tears very proud moment xx
I was on a concert in Prague one week ago... I must say, that I never heard anything such beautiful... Your music has the athmosphere, it lets my soul fly... Please maestro Einaudi, come to Prague more often - we were amazed, all people in the huge Congress center in Prague... Let me feel such incredible feelings at least once more in my life! Thank you
Ludovico produces songs that both invokes feelings of sadness and happiness at the same time.
Still listening to this in 2022.
Ive never heard something so bittersweet before. A perfect combination of both happy and sad
Just wow..
When I close my eyes, I see these ..things. Dancing and curling in front of me. Colors playing with my mind and emotions beating on my skin. I am drifting in space. Wild, but peaceful Planets rush past. Joy and peace overcomes me. Nothing stays, but nothing leaves. Nothing makes sense, but everything is true. A whole new universe in my mind. Then I open my eyes and feel happy. Music is not entertainment, not art, not emotion. It is simply music. Incomprehensible, unsearchable. No word can truly describe music. Music is the other dimension in our head.
I think you must be high... High in the sky.

This was my dad's favorite song for me to play in the piano and the only one I remember to this day how to play. I learned how to play it about 4 years ago just before leaving home (and my country) and every time I went back to visit I would play it multiple times and my dad always enjoyed it; he would often stop doing whatever he was doing just to sit in the couch and listen me play this song for the billionth time. He passed away 6 months ago and now every time I listen to this song I feel it tells the story of his life, and whenever I play it I feel he is nearby listening me play.
😢😢
This always brings me to tears.
It makes me remember all the good times and the bad. It makes me reminisce about childhood surrounded by all my friends and loved ones without a care in the world. It brings me joy and pulls me back to the present, reminds me of my journey, and always makes me more grateful for what I have. It reminds me of who I am and who I want to be.
Its the one thing than truly calms me, and brings me peace. I simply can't describe it. Unadulterated joyful, heart wrenching wonder.
LunaLovegood 3107 Sorry if I reply in english, but my french is pretty awful. I guess that Ludovico plays this piece so beautifully because he wrote it and knows exactly when put certain "accents" in order to make it as much emotional as possible. This is what makes difference between an ordinary piano player and a unique player like him.
This man is my absolute idol. His music has continued to inspire my piano for so many years. I listen to i Giorni and Nuvole Bianche everyday, Islands CD was the best and most worthwhile purchase I have ever made in my life. I am absolutely in love with this man's music. This is in my opinion, heaven.
This song just makes me feel alive. Like i matter and am in charge of my own story. Thats the journey i am taken on when i close my eyes. That no matter what happens, be true to myself , enjoy the little moments and live with no regrets. Simply to not just survive, but exist. And that, that is a priceless feeling.
A girlfriend of mine, who I met online playing a video game 12 years ago strangely enough, introduced to me this composer. We are still friends today but she is dying of cancer. She doesnt have long left, she is only 35. She plays the piano, has had a very hard life, and I grew up in a broken home on a council estate, but compared what she had growing up, Im a prince! Anyways, I admire her she is so talented and intelligent and just ... a decent girl. A rock! So I am her rock, now. We are each others ROCK. Anyways, I played this at my Dads funeral. He didnt know it, he was into the classics as he was very old. But I figured he'd like this, and it reminds me of him. My life right now is falling apart and not in a dramatic way. My life, has recently, fallen to pieces and there is getting back where I was. But if my Dad was here, although even he couldn't fix me, he'd have something to say to make me feel better, to put a bigger picture to me and help, as he always used to. Make me focus on something else, cos what good did thinking of yourself ever do anyone? So ... on we go. "Do the best you can!" he would say. The most simple lines, that always lead you to something good and right. Lovely piano piece, this. Doesnt even make me sad. Or maybe Im sad all the time? Who knows! On we go.
hey, it's been almost 2 years....I am sorry that I am this late, but I sincerely hope you are doing well and you are at peace with yourself...losing people dear to you in life can be really sad and depressing. It's funny right? we all know death is inevitable yet when it comes we are unable to let go...maybe that's what makes us all...human. I will hope and pray for your well being. Have a good day...lots of positive vibes to you
I have been on RUclips for years and never commented but I have to say this is the most moving music I have ever heard and it reduces me to tears time after time (I listen to heavy metal, rock & roll etc) it speaks to me on so many levels. I tip my hat to you sir, please keep doing what you are doing.

"Airtel - Endless goodbyes."
I first heard this piece (I giorni) many years ago in Airtel ad. It was such a emotional ad and this piece made it so much more memorable. I didnt have internet at that time so i couldn't google this song. But i used to keep humming this tune even after the ad went off air. After a few years of getting internet, i started searching Airtel ad to find that song but i didnt know the right keyword to type, so i didnt find it to my frustration. But after some years i randomly stumbled on it while listening to classical radio app. So this piece will always be close to my heart because of so much nostalgia attached to it. I don't know why but all the TV ads during my school days had really soulful music and I am very proud of having a strong musical memory when it comes to the music pieces I hear. If I heard something that moved me, rest assured I would remember the tune even years after they have taken off the ad. I really miss those days of beautiful innocent ads.
I heard this on a BBC advert a few years back and was struck by its beauty, then couldn't find it for years and thought I'd never hear it again. Then last year in York through a crowd I heard the sound of a piano busker playing it. Was so happy to come across it and finally learn what it was called. I know very little about the technical side of music, but even the layman knows when something touches his soul.
I also heard it first in that ad. Unfortunately I don't have a cool story about rediscovering it. I think I just used shazam when the ad came on once.
In a world full of anxiety and deep inner sadness this piece of art truly grounds me and reminds me to keep going and that brighter days are ahead ✨🤎
Giorno: *has a popular theme*
Giorni: _"are you challenging me?"_

Imagine you hear this in Satsang with your Guruji. Silent tears are running down the cheeks and the heart is almost bursting from love and bliss. There is a obvious smile on your face and even if you wanted, you cannot suppress it. There is no player, no experiencer, only the music, only You. What a grace, what a blessing! Thank you.
I’ve always known classical music was out there, but this is absolutely perfect. I love it . Could listen to this forever.
One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. It conjures up images and memories from a long time ago for me. And it makes me melancholy in a way that only nostalgia can.
