This has to be one of the sharpest color combos I seen on a sword for far !!!! The brown with the dark rayskin and darkened metal is amazing !!! I want it !!!!!!!
You are definitely one of the most patient guys in the trade! Whether it’s tying down a Tsuka, or stitching up a sheathe/scabbard, you being a perfectionist is what sets you ahead of other Smith’s. I still want to see what the next phase of your treehouse is. Are you insulating between the studs and hanging drywall, or is that way beyond what you wanted?
I wish I had the skills. I have an iaito where the cutout for the nakago in the wood has been done a little off, so that the blade from spine to edge is not perfectly aligned with the tsuka. The misalignment is microscopic, but I can feel (and hear) it in the cut.
From the point of view of a 15 year kendoist these are beautiful pieces - truly master works. The Ito was expertly wrapped, but we didn't see the menuki placed. Could you show a photo of the menuki please? Also, what did you use for the meguki?
These make me wet in the pants. Such amazing work you would think that he has been making katanas for decades. They're so easy to get wrong but the quality of craftmanship here is just so stunning and apparent that a keen eye for detail was behind them all. Congratulations!
Can someone tell me if katana swords can be made by wielding the blade to the pommel instead of using pins to secure the handle and blade but at the same time keeping with the traditional wrapping of the handle ? I would really love to know thank you.
Handle looks so beautiful. It's a very delicate feeling and fine sense as you always!

There are some shots.
It would be a great benefit to see how the knots are made
what wood to you use to make your Tsuka ?
молодец мастер. очень круто получилось рукоять 👍👍👍👍👍. меч красивый и острый как бритва
Gorgeous
Brilliant
Where did you get your Fuchi and Kashira, or did you make them in a previous part?
They are authentic. Edo pieces
I would never use pine or spruce for a handle.

What's the height and width of this ?
Great work. But watching you cut around the emperor nodes hurt a little. It's so much better when you can feature them.
so so so pretty
FANTÁSTICO 👏👏👏👏👏

Bring in the prisoner... let´s test the blade
If only! I have a dotanuki o-katana that’s just begging for it 😉
Супер 👍👍👍
作り方は違うけど、日本刀みたい。すごい!
Nice!
Couldn't tell, but it looks like you mixed sharkskin leather with cow leather...
Masterpiece in sword making my friend 🙇
😎👍👍👍👍
now you should cut some stuff!
These are pieces that he is making for customers and can’t be battered around
Mantap👍
Can you do something like this for me and send it to him as a gift to Iraq?

These aren’t for requests unless you are buying these.
Что особенно здорово,все вещи мастера-Боевые. Бери и иди воевать. В старину очередь была бы. Да и сейчас кто не дурак и с деньгами, купит.
