Kelee Ringo might suprise you and get those first teams reps over him, not a great practice or camp player so that could hurt him but Q&Coop gonna have to EARN those 1st team reps. There's a couple guys who played last year who will start out ahead of them unless otherwise proven!

You have to keep in mind that Sydney is very young so he'll heal more efficiently than an older player would
He's young, but he is also a tough guy...he will rush back and lie to keep that starting spot...let Coop start at Safety, and let Sydney work his way back in...we have plenty of corners...but we need back ups ready

I am saying it right now, the giants are going to regret and loathe themselves for not giving barkley a contract.... I am serious, he's been working so hard non-stop this off season to be in his best shape he can be with the eagles you can tell he is HAPPY as hell to be home. Bradberry got cooked the same number of times the rest of the defense did. Poor coaches and stupid front office decisions destroyed this defense.
Facts and that's why JB deserves another year and that's why I'm hoping he's on this team for opening day because you don't go from third rank cornerback 2 years ago to looking like that unless something has changed and we know it was the coaching

@@ronnielister1023exactly. Front office and Nick poor decisions on hiring rookies as coaches. Messed up our chances of going back to the Super Bowl. The talent took this team to 10 -1. And fell apart because inexperience coaches didn’t have a clue. Nick is lazy. You can see it in how he Set the standard for practice . And how little effort he put into seeking out better coaches for the job. He settled. And he got cocky on Shane strength. There wasn’t much competition last year. Better preparations. And decision making. And we could have won it all.
I love how Mitchel has kept quiet. While all the attention went to Cooper. Continue sleeping on him. He is the real deal. I barely hear people talk about him. But that’s ok. His quiet demeanor reminds me of Smitty.

Thanks. Kellen Moore ran a lot of 12 formations when he had talented TE's. I expect with having the elite RB in Saquon in the backfield, he will us CJ more than a third WR. Anias, Parris, The big tall dude will be splitting time as the 3rd WR depending on the team/defense. CJ Uzomah will have more receptions that a third WR.
Q & Coop will have to earn those spots over Rodgers, Ringo, Ricks , Maddox. Tall task so do not be surprised if they are back ups for most fo the frist half of the season!
You don’t draft a guy in the first round to sit.
Put these young guys ON THE FIELD. Let them contribute and learn early.

I feel you... that was a weakness for us...too much analytics not enough toughness. We went to the Superbowl with weak LB's, but we had monster pass rush. Slay was leading the team in tackles, before people started running they mouth. And Siriani brought in Patricia. When a brother tells you he doesn't rock with somebody, Nick should have listened...we will be fine... I promise you...but we gotta stop being cheap... and gambling on 5th round picks

Quinyon can play inside and outside, Rodgers has the ability to as well. It’ll most likely be them with Slay once the season starts. Since last year I’ve been saying we need to give Ngata an opportunity and move Smith around to create even more mismatches.

I’d expect them to keep trying different combinations throughout camp as it is a new DC. But dunno, if Rodgers can play better now at Outside CB, let him stay there now. Rotate Mitchell with Slay in games were we might have it easier

We have a lot of quality CB on this roster. it’s a good thing after what happen last year. I feel like they’re just trying things out rn, Vic already said he’s gonna do this early so nothing is new later in the season when they need to switch things up

Michell will be hard to keep off the field. Rogers will probably get exposed one game on the outside because of his size. Howie will make sure the 1st rounder gets his snaps either way!! No worries.
Best part is media had very low expectations about this defense. For some reason they can’t grasp a team can get better. I think it could be top 5 D this year

Lito Sheppard didn't play at all in his rookie season but Sheldon Brown did get on the field. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens this year with DeJean getting some playing time and Mitchell on the sideline.

IMO, way too early to speculate who's starting, who's playing ahead of who, etc. Fangio is basically throwing things against the wall and seeing where they land. Let's see what the formations look like during preseason. Probably a better indicator of their plans for Brazil.

Bradberry is a pro, he looked bad, because, the schemes were truly crappy and the coaches were to. A pro mentally checks out when they recognize this. See what he does under real believable working schemes

The optimal 1st team corners for me are. Rodgers and Mitchell on the outside. Dejean in the slot. This is why I say trade Slay. So, the rookies can play! Slay won't give you the effort these young studs will.

I don't agree with your assessment with Rodgers starting over Quinyon who should be penciled in as the other starting CB opposite of Slay... I believe Rodgers is a nice backup corner to have just in case of injury but certainly should not be above Q on the depth chart. After all, there was a chance Rodgers would not even have been reinstated let alone banking on him as the starter... I do understand you being patiently optimistic with Sydney Brown but I am certain with his insane worth ethic this year he will do much more than just being a "recovering ACL" player...

I don’t think we’re paying enough attention to the oline. I know the eagles have drafted well for the line and have lleves replacement, and I don’t doubt their ability I think they’ll be good, but it’s going to look very different and might start off shaky.

I feel that way too. There was something wrong last year and we will probably never get to find out why. Plus everyone is forgetting about injuries. What happens if Slay goes down and Bradbury was cut ? We need to think about that 🤔.

I know why you want DeJean to play safety but you already have Blankenship and CJ at safety. Blankenship has done nothing to lose the job. Also DeJean is more a free safety and not a strong safety. You just have to be patient with DeJean. It’s year one. He doesn’t need to start.

The whole defense was trash last season. I don't understand why y'all are just singling out Bradberry. He didn't play well but neither did the rest of them. He was playing out of position on a trash defense with guys always getting hurt in the secondary and y'all just keep going in hard on him. He was an all pro the year before. Y'all giving him zero grace and this is why it use to be hard to have nice things in Philly and players went elsewhere and shined. There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism but the slander of him is unreal. I hope he goes elsewhere and is an all pro again. It would be what y'all deserve.
