Brilliant video , I’ve often dreamt of owning my own forest and to see a man who actually does and enjoying the wonderful experiences it can offer is a pleasure to watch, thanks for sharing with us.
This lad is living the life! Stumbled across the chanel couple months ago, loving the wholesome content
hi robert, we also cook in nature🍖🏔😈
I love the fact that you take your culinary bushcraft seriously. The food that you make always looks appetizing and gravel free 😃

Thank you Shaun :)
No pun intended...

You keep saying you had to cheat on that build, what i see is an intense week of hard work. Wow you did a great job.
JLC Outdoors... Hum ... I'm JLC ... I like that.

What makes your vids so enjoyable is that you just come across as a really nice bloke. Every time you ‘chuckle’ I think you’re gonna do a "you know what I mean arry" impression.
I don't understand it...I get so damned hungry everytime I watch your videos.
haha, eat first! :p
Same
😂😂😂😜
hi christian, we also cook in nature🍖🏔😈
Hehe same here
As a Texan I approve of this smoker. Fruit woods are nice to smoke with.
Thanks buddy :D Fruit woods are plentiful around here so a good choice... maybe some texas brisket next ;)
Central Texas offered Mesquite and Pecan, both fine smoking kinds of wood.
As a Dorset man, I approve of a Texan mans approval of a Kent mans skills...
Everyone knows Kansas City is the world’s best barbecue
@@duskhunter3803 As an Essex man, I approve of the Dorset man's approval of the Texan's approval of the Kent man's smoking skills.
Excellent work, Andy. Make the door a vertical double, that opens out. That way you can look inside without losing all your heat.
Thanks Charles.. that was my thinking also! little canoe trip this weekend then back to work on it
Ever heard of chavettas sauce? Is awesome for overnight marinade. Vinegar based with great spice combo!
hi charles, we also cook in nature🍖🏔😈
Another amazing video kent💞 Love from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
From Cambodia 🇰🇭

I too am from the southern USA. You made me proud Andrew. Now do a brisket.
Enjoy watching his video
I have enjoyed your videos, since I lucked on to your channel. I am retired from the U. S. Army, But I still like watching the camping and cooking. ( I call it freedom )
Me too enjoy watching his video
Woooo, smoke some fish - cod, trout, salmon whatever, and make a smoked fish pate'/dip to eat on fresh campfire bread with a nice cold one.
I've been watching a lot of your videos since I discovered your channel a few weeks ago. Good to see you've had a few warm days instead of rain and then you get snow! Hard work building the smoker but geez its impressive. Dinner looked great too!! Hello from New Zealand.
Thank you and welcome to the channel! :)
Share? BBQ? That thought never crossed my mind. Never will again. You're a better man than I sir and thus I tip my hat to you.
Just in time, as I sit down perfect viewing to go with my tea 😂👌👍
Same here👍😂
Thanks Malcolm, enjoy!

Oh boy new bushcraft goals🤩
Smoked Salmon 🐟🐠🐡🦈
That smokehouse is on point. You'll be able to smoke tons of meat at one time in that.
Another master class in out door cooking...please don’t stop making videos....
The wait was worth it! Impeccable work, as always! Your videos are very much enjoyed! Thank you and a hug from the South Patagonia of Argentina!
From Cambodia 🇰🇭
hi martin, we also cook in nature🍖🏔😈
All that work must make that food taste all the better. I do not know what cold smoking is but I can't wait to find out! The brisket idea sounds awesome. Thanks for the video.
You are the king of the jungle 😃
I think you did a great job on your first wilderness smoker! Keep up the good work! I look forward to the other goodies you're thinking about making!
I simply love to watch Kent do all these stuff...
Maybe add a small door in the door for spraying the meat and adding water without losing a lot of heat from opening the full door. Looks great though, love it!
Thanks, im probably going to split the door and hinge on both sides :)
Hi Andy, great video! I built a similar smoker a while back. It might be a good idea to built an external firebox and connect it with a clay/stone pipe. That way you have more control over your fire. A bonus is that you can put a kettle on your firebox whilst you are waiting on your food. Happy cooking! 🔥
That was some amazing work on the smoker and the meat looked amazing. If there’s one thing we like to do here in Canada, it’s smoking meat
Thanks Jordan, lots more smoking to come :p
Lieber so ein paar Rippchen als ein Hühnchen, wieder ein super Video....
Grüße aus Deutschland
What an Awesome creation , so simple, but obviously some hard work involved.
thank you for sharing this video Andy
Hello young one, l like the cook shelter it reminds me of when l was young as a pigeon shelter nice job
Cheers mate, you never know.. if i leave it open they may move in haha
Aohh... dude, you're killing me. Than looks so delicious. Incredible job on the smoker, Very inspiring
Wow that's awesome, at first I thought you were building an outhouse I say it with respect!
It looks like a whicker basket design but effective...looks better one clay on.
Great video Kent..
I admire the hard work that you put into these projects to be honest, the natural builds that you do are second to none, I'm not surprised you brought some wood in, made sense, and what to say about that smoked meat! 😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yay, love me some Andy! 😊❤️
:) why thank you
dude, you are amazing, thank you
Yes!!! 👌👌👌 this was such a great project you have filmed Andy. Brilliant content as always, absolutely love your videos.
Fantastic! Great to see this done from scratch
Amazing, great project! Thanks for bringing us along!
ONE DAY, while FROW-lickin' in the forest, ANDY...came upon some framework. "What's SHAKING?' Andy asked. 😊😒 A local chestnut log called out to him: 'There's a whole lot of shaking goin' on.' I never found heat 'retention' to be a problem in smoking. The problem was how to smoke low and slow. Smoke always went up the chimney, so I never worried about holding in the smoke.
haha.. true story :p I was pretty happy with the heat after it 'settled' and had dried out a bit.. i likely will put some kind of metal / foil on the inside of the roof though for longevity :)
Andy your a cook that cook great food the chicken and ribs looks so sweet and delicious.
The grilled ribs look so appealing
Happy to see your hard work paid off.. love your videos.. thanks for sharing!
I bet it smell amazing in that woodland with all the wild garlic.
Amazing. Simply amazing. That looked so good.
So great a hob building the smoker! I'm so impressed. You make it look so easy! Congratulations!
Lovely stuff bro. Thank you.
It’s now 22.06, you’ve just tasted the ribs and chicken. Yum yum yum. I want to get up and light the bbq lol. What a great smoker. X
Very nice! I’ve just made a tandoor oven / bbq / smoker from two old oil drums and an old inverted firebowl for the lid. Vermiculite in the gap between the drums and a bit of stove pipe at the bottom to create the rocket draught. Never done smoking before so your video is instructive! Didn’t realise you need a water bowl in there to keep things moist. Every day is a school day!
Bacon, definitely bacon. Maybe two or three different rubs? And a sweet one. I’d love to see how candied bacon is smoked. Whooee! My mouth is watering.
And salmon. Smoked salmon, oh yah. 🥳
I like that fact you got all these good gadgets for making fire or camp in that matter plus every meal look great
Really enjoyed the lesson on wood smoker build. You are a good teacher. 👍🏽💯🇬🇧
Wow what a talent, smoker looks great and the meats look amazing. WD Andy
