Your idea re: the shortening of the lugs is exactly what needs to happen (and go down to 20mm) to get me to be a buyer. That L2L length is ridiculous, but more so because it's completely unnecessary.
To me this an 8/10 for the price and with some small modifications could easily be a 10 , I still really like it and would recommend it to anyone Jared
Thanks for sharing. Shortening the L2L will change the overall appearance, but we agree with your point. We will keep that in mind and find the balance in the next generation.
nice looking peice and I agree with the others that the lug to lug needs to be shortened. as with all micro brands I'm sure the next generation will be more refined.
Thanks for your comments. Many guys have made similar comments. At the very begining, we would like to make something different. But well, you know, sometimes we have to try and error. We will take it very seriously and fine-tune our next generation.
Completely understand where your coming from with regards to the L2L but the thickness I dont mind myself as its only 1mm thicker than a Rolex Submariner
@@ClickSpringReview Very true - and I've got a good number of watches over 13mm, just that the ones that are 10.5mm to 12.5mm just give a nicer feel. Not a deal breaker on the thickness front though, just a serious preference.
Looks a little bit like a prototype. The case needs some refinement as you already pointed out. Otherwise some good details. I don’t like the strap, it is way too plain.
Just so you know, I like this watch, I just wanted to say that first…… but far too much text on the dial! Also, they should have realised the lugs were too long when they had to make a spacer for the strap to hide it- this has prototype vibes written all over it- hope they listen for V2
For a watch which has a great dial why hide it behind so much text, I'm going to send Steve the review and see if maybe he can take some inspiration for the newer model
@ClickSpringReview I just like to play with the crown, to wind, to correct time. I am always annoyed by crown guards. We are so cautious with our watches. Nobody needs these 💁
Thanks for your comment. We understand the crown somehow makes it difficult to use for someone. We focused on the appearance and forgot to make it user-friendly however. We will make it better in future.
An interesting steam-punk inspired piece. It doesn't look like it could be in competition with my Sinn UX, but OK I am looking forward to the evolution of the watches. Also, I appreciate your reviews and the channel. Whilst I'm sure you are inundated with brands looking for an audience, I'd ask you to consider what's important to you: credibility and independence, or free shiny stuff?
You wouldn't believe the amount of watch brands I turn down, I only review stuff I like and I do really like this one I really think it a great looking watch. I've been offered 3d printers E-bikes and wait for it wigs lol.
Lovely looking piece ie; dial, handset & bezel but .. too long too thick and flat given the dimensions plus a 20 mil lug width would 've been more fitting , and really who cares about 300m wr as opposed to 200m where most would rather a slimmer watch , i think its 50/50 as to what they've got right to not so which for the asking price isn't enough ..& yes even with the 9 series .
Thats fair enough Ted I like it because its not trying to be a submarine and I love the dial hands and bezel but I do understand where your coming from
Hi, the end links actually can be removed if you don't like it. It doesn't belong to the case. As Barry said, many room for us to improve. Thanks for the comment. We will keep that in mind.

Yeah I love the dial hands and bezel but if they could shorten the lug to lug it would be spot on

I like the semi bold design choices. Crafter Blue never plays it safe
It may not be prefect but I really like the watch and look forward to see where they go with it
Hi Barry, this looks good but there are too many glitches at the moment. LG Bob 🍾 🥂
Hi Bob I really like it as its a little different to many of the normally models you see at this price point
Like the overall design, but others have said, too thick and L2L over 50mm is a no thank you. Hope they revisit it.
Completely understand where your coming from with regards to the L2L but the thickness I dont mind myself as its only 1mm thicker than a Rolex Submariner
We already listened to your comments. And plan to change it better in V3.
@@crafterblue6157 Superb - as the overall aesthetics are great

I like the fact Steve from Crafter Blue has taken the comments on broad so fingers crossed

Yes, we have listened to your voice and weighted it.
Crown guards show stopper for me
Shame but I wouldn't let that but you off getting it after all how many times do you have to used the crown
@ClickSpringReview I just like to play with the crown, to wind, to correct time. I am always annoyed by crown guards. We are so cautious with our watches. Nobody needs these 💁
Thats fair enough then but I wouldn't recommend over winding it if its an ETA2824 or an SW200 movement
Thanks for your comment. We understand the crown somehow makes it difficult to use for someone. We focused on the appearance and forgot to make it user-friendly however. We will make it better in future.

Hi Barry, this is nice but there are too many glitches at the moment. LG Bob 🍾 🥂
Hi Bob I know what you mean but at around £449 I think its great with its own unique look about it , All the best matey

Those "end links" completely ruin the design of the watch.
There is definitely room for improvement lets say

I had a terrible experience with their customer service.
Really what happened Steven
Sorry to hear that. We apologize for the bad experience with us. We will do that in the future.
It is big. Kind of look big, I only watched first 45 seconds.
Thats fair enough chap, its only 40mm case size and its thinner than the Tudor Pelagos
@ClickSpringReview cheers.
I just wouldn’t want a watch that says “crafter Blue” on the the dial it’s stupid
That’s why I stick with BALL
I think it would have been better if there'd gone with CF instead ? But I still think its a stunning watch at £449 with an amazing dial
@ maybe with the CF is a fancy font… YEs
