It took me a while to decide if I wanted to respond to your review. I appreciate the fact that you liked the groups vocals. I thought maybe I could educate you on the group a little because they are more than this one review. First of all they are Chinese and Thai working in the Korean music industry which means they get less promotions and opportunities than the Korean groups in their company. Out of the six members 3 have writing credit on their music. They speak a minimum of three languages with some of them fluent in five. They have music in Mandarin, Korean, English, Thai and recently released a Japanese mini EP. They go through rigorous training, some even 4 to 5 years of 12 to 14 hours a day before they even debut. One of the members often adjusts their choreography to give it a more grove flair which is part of the groups style. Their songs range in style from EDM to ballads. One of the members has a solo album where he had a say in every aspect of the production of the music, music video and choreography. I would say their music is polished. To reduce it to manufactured is an insult to what these guys have had to go through to do something that they love. Peace be with you.
I've been thinking about that more. I don't think I described it very well. What I was trying to say is that, unlike a group like the Beatles or the Rolling Stones, these groups are put together. It begins with auditions to find suitable voices and voices that blend together well. Sort of like the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders tryouts, if you've ever seen those. Once they find the right voices, that sound good and blend together well, and they can also dance, they begin training. They work with vocal coaches and choreographers as well as composers and lyricists. Eventually, they begin performing together. That's what i meant by manufactured. As you said, "They go through rigorous training, some even 4 to 5 years of 12 to 14 hours a day before they even debut." The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, on the other hand, simply started playing together and eventually hit it big. I never meant to say they aren't talented or they can't sing or dance. Of course they can. But their entire existence is planned out in advance and carefully nurtured.
@@paulschmehl2124 I know you didn’t mean it in a negative way. I just know how hard these particular guys have to work to get any help from their company just because of their race. Myself, as an older Veteran, I appreciate the hard work and perseverance they have to do what they love. Speaking of the Beatles, they covered Hey Jude live at their London fancon.

It's Kpop world. Very different from Western music. 99% of Kpop will be what yoi don't like.
