This game is my favorite Mizzou memory. What a year, what a team. So special. Thank you for that year.
Chase, you have NO idea what it was like for those of us who are Mizzou diehards living in the KC area that season. We all knew Mizzou was clearly the better team that year, but those kU pricks were insufferable. Everyone knew that the winner of this game would have bragging rights, FOR ETERNITY. ALL the bars and restaraunts in the KC metro were packed to the roof. Fights broke out in the parking lot between opposing fans. Even driving into the Arrowhead parking lot there were fights and altercations. And then the post game impact in the workplace cannot be measured. No work got done that week and for days after. Mizzou fans celebrated. kU fans refused to show up for work and be forced to suck on the loss. It was GLORIOUS! We cannot thank you and the men on that team for one of the greatest victories in Mizzou history!! Had you lost, I may have had to move to Saint Louis. Thanks again!

Growing up just 30 minutes north of Como, I've been a Mizzou fan my whole life. I was 10 in 2007 and this was my first season really watching college football. This is still one of my favorite games ever and probably my favorite Mizzou team ever. Thanks so much for doing this Chase. M-I-Z!

I was there. Right behind the Mizzou band. What a game - remember absolutely losing it when Todd Reesing got sacked for that safety
I was offered $1000 for my ticket outside the stadium. I said no. Zero regrets. My favorite moment as a sports fan was after that safety. The rush of emotions was crazy. No words could describe the atmosphere in that stadium. Great game, and great team.

Chase, this is so cool, for all us guys who never got to play great D1 ball, it is neat to hear you describe what you ad the guys were doing. Way better than what we got from the TV announcers. Do this for every game you played. And if you would, answer a question for me . . why did nothing work against Texas or OK? We can't stand those guys.
Man what a game! So glad you did this recap - I still remember driving from Mizzou, someone changed all the HWY signs to read GO MU beat KU haha. I couldn't get a ticket for the game so ended up sneaking in during the 2nd quarter, what a game! You guys played lights out, that team was stacked! MIZ
I was there that night and the tension between the fans was intense! I will say that I was also strangely relaxed and confident that Mizzou was going to win that night. The 2007 Tigers are still my favorite team/season in my life as a fan.

I'd love to see you do a breakdown of top plays from the 2007 season. From Maclin and Pig opening it up in STL with a returns to Temple having a day in the Cotton Bowl, a top 10 would be hard to put together.
I gotta admit Chase, you are very likable and entertaining. When I saw the video title and blue helmet I thought you were going to talk about the Bears Giants game a few years back. Only you would pick among your highlights an incomplete pass.

I remember watching this game live. I remember hoping the chiefs drafted you after this game, but you ended up playing in kc eventually anyway. And even J-Mac ended up in kc eventually at one point as well!

If I remember correctly your quarterback rating for the first year, it was like 120 something and you ended with a 158.8 !! Chase Daniels needs to be recognized as the greatest quarterback to play for Missouri !! ✊🏽
As a huge Mizzou fan he already is. Even through recency bias no one argues Chase is not the 🐐. My favorite was Brad, he was vital in turning Mizzou around. Chase was the better QB though.

I just want you to know that I am very proud of you and your accomplishments from high school all the way to now. I am sure your mother and father are very proud of you too and they invested well in your future and it was well worth it.
