Love love love this video! I've been homeschooling since 2011. My first two kids went to public school until they were 9 and 11. My third has never. There's been plenty of times I've questioned my decision but ALWAYS come back to the same answer. This is what God wants. I definitely do not want the influence of public school on my son. Lots of things I could say but I'll just say this...I totally agree with everything you said. Your videos are definitely an encouragement to me even though I've been doing this for a while and have graduated 2.
The number 1 reason I'm a stay at home mom is that it was cheaper for me to stay home and raise my own kids than to work full time just to pay for the day care. Child care where we were living would have cost a whole pay check plus some of my husband's for 1 kid.

I am so glad! We all need encouragement on this journey of homeschool. It’s definitely challenging yet so rewarding as well! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Great reminders! It is truly a gift to homeschool. I need to remember these truths when we are tackling grammar or math!
Me too, and I am so glad there are resources out there to help. 😊

I agree childcare is ridiculously expensive. Thanks for sharing. 😊
