Why this is so cute, haaa? That different height, that chubby cheeks, that handsome tall man, everything was sooooo cute! And the line, that's perfect.
the storyline doesn't make much sense, it could've been better and it would definitely be so good if it was 40 minutes long. it's just like the highlights of every basic story. other longer dramas just fill in the gaps, it's not bad tho. I really enjoyed it and invited my little sister to watch it!

This would give more visibility to the LGBT community especially in S Korea, it doesn't specifically have to be entertainment only, it can also be for representation and visibility and I call that a win. Even though it’s only 7 minutes, you have to admit that Koreans are on another level. Out of the Thais, the Taiwanese, etc. they’re the best. Their production and direction are top tier, and even though it’s so short there’s so much context and you’re not left confused- you only want more. The BL industry is slowly rising in Korea and it’s only getting better from here.
Saaaame. It’s interesting to see the bl industry is slowly expanding in Korean production as well. I have been following it since a while. Many short bl dramas came out and the tendency is actually promising. I think we may not see 16 ep dramas on Korean national broadcasting channels since the censorship and I think it’s still a sensitive topic that is approached carefully by the society. Anyways Korea is doing a great job and I am here to watch where this all will lead.
Although I don’t really like k-dramas I have to say that I really love Korean movies and to see that mix with BLs which I love is like a dream fr. I’ve been waiting for it for a bunch of years and this year and the precedent a whole lot came out. I feel like we’re gonna get some high quality korean series soon, well I hope !

It's very unfortunate though that everyone don't watch Sweet Munchies when it's airing, because they make 16 full length episodes for it.. At least they should respect what they can do best, but the fandom didn't..
I just don't want it to be a case of a 'bl industry'. I mean bl doesn't really mean gay romance to me. It just means, 'about boys, for girls'. I think the prodution companies and whatever should research the LGBT+ community before making LGBT series because I don't want it to become another country full of toxic fangirl fujoshis who reduce charcters to their position in bed and allocate heterosexual roles into homosexual relationships. ooops, soorry, I ranted a little bit.
It would be so beautiful if it were a series, I love it since it is not the typical stereotype of two tall and perfect handsome boys, since it shows a more realistic couple, the truth is, I hope there are more series like this and that we learn that there are different types of couples and that they are all beautiful

Gay rights jumped massively in the USA a few years ago to the point that it's socially unacceptable to be homophobic, and there are no BLs here. I still think BL can be important, but the genre is totally stuck in a formulaic rut that depicts gay people totally unrealistically and with a lot of negative represtation.

I don't think it's that they're just testing the waters, they need to have funding to back these up. W-story is able to do it because of funding and probably sponsorship. I do believe if strongberry was able to get the right funding we would finally get to see a longer series from them.

I think I've come back to this short every week since the day it premiered. I always wonder why Yeon Ho apologizes and how their friendship started. I love that Jae Min seems to have the shyest personality yet he is the one who first declares his feelings. There are a lot of questions and I create answers to them in my mind, but there is also a certainty that they were definitely happy.
Unfortunately, this is the downside of a short film, as it leaves more questions than answers. I loved this BL, and I keep imagining that nowadays, yes, the two are being happy in Seoul. ❤

@@suhadinieperera8027 I think it's more likely that BL has become popular because attitudes are changing, not the other way around. Gay rights jumped massively in the USA a few years ago to the point that it's socially unacceptable to be homophobic, and there are no BLs here. I still think BL can be important, but the genre is totally stuck in a formulaic rut that depicts gay people totally unrealistically and with a lot of negative represtation.

The USA produces the biggest amout on gay films from the entire planet. There may not be many gay themed TV Series right now, but there are many gay couples and stories in many TV Dramas with really high quality:
Shadowhunters; How To Get Away With Murder; Sense8; Love, Victor; The Fosters; Days Of Our Lives; Looking; Pose; The Night Shift ... and many many others. Also... BL is not just gay... is a very particular asian genre of Japanese origin not to be confuse with the western gay storytelling style. There is not a single western gay production which I could consider to be BL. They are really NOT the same.

I don't think it's that they're just testing the waters, they need to have funding to back these up. W-story is able to do it because of funding and probably sponsorship. I do believe if strongberry was able to get the right funding we would finally get to see a longer series from them.

I think I've come back to this short every week since the day it premiered. I always wonder why Yeon Ho apologizes and how their friendship started. I love that Jae Min seems to have the shyest personality yet he is the one who first declares his feelings. There are a lot of questions and I create answers to them in my mind, but there is also a certainty that they were definitely happy.
I'm pretty sure he apologises for seeing his friend as something more than a friend. ;)
Unfortunately, this is the downside of a short film, as it leaves more questions than answers. I loved this BL, and I keep imagining that nowadays, yes, the two are being happy in Seoul. ❤

"¿Que es todo?", El chico alto trata de cambiar la conversación nuevamente y luego por alparecer un parlante llaman a los estudiantes graduados y ellos deben ir, pero antes el chico más bajo lo detiene y le dice que tiene que decirle algo, "Me gustas" y le responden con un beso, luego se van a tomar fotos y al final el chico alto termina con un "Nosotros definitivamente seremos felices". Mi inglés es básico pero entendí la traducción, espero que se entienda y te haya ayudado, si hay alguna equivocacion, me disculpo.
