I have a master's and I'm going back to Urban planning at the University of South Florida. I've finally found my passion.
Ishbu101 does the job give you the freedom to design an actual city? I'm looking into jobs and I decided not to be an architect. I want to actually design and get creative with stuff.
Planning is a little bit different than design. You are thinking of Urban Design, which is more closely related to architecture. However, yes Urban planning is very heavily involved in the design of the city.
