Can Colin answer a troubleshooting question? HU is Alpine ILX-407 2021 Tundra rear camera was not as clear on install as the old factory HU. Camera also was intermittent. Verified that camera is good by testing it with the factory HU. Im stuck w/ a camera that’s works when it wants to now and wondering if your staff has fielded similar questions and have a solution. I did buy an Alpine camera HCE C1000 and tested that with the Alpine HU and all works perfectly so there’s and issue with the factory camera and Alpine HU communication. Has TGP experienced this on the Toyotas?
I got this for 2020 Tundra and I love it!! I highly recommend it to update your head unit. The only con is that I can't put the mic in the stock mic location. Having the mic out takes a custom feeling away and the possibility of knocking it off its mic clip.
Thanks for your feedback! We used to offer an Alpine compatible microphone that allowed the microphone to be mounted in the factory location, but we had to pull that product until we find a better quality microphone to use. We hope to have that available again in the near future!
Yep, it will! To get an Anytime Camera Kit to work as intended with a Maestro Alpine bundle you'll need to do the following: Cut a new stripe of 18 - 22 gauge wire about 12 inches long. Strip the wire back at both ends and attach a t-tap on both sides. Tap one side of the new wire to the "orange" wire from the Anytime Kits override harness. Tap the other side of the new wire to the "purple w/ a white stripe" wire from our Alpine bundle harness. This will restore full functionality of your Anytime kit when paired with one of our Maestro Alpine bundles.
We haven't tested them on a 2024 as of yet, but to our knowledge the components necessary are exactly the same. The only hold-up is that iDatalink hasn't updated their Maestro options for 2024 models yet!
Two outstanding brands joining forces. Great move!
Thanks so much! We appreciate you!

I always loved Alpine. Nice move
We agree!
I have a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro - Does the factory microphone maintain function with the F511? I'm also close to you, do you do installs? TIA.
The kit does require use of the provided Alpine mic. We absolutely perform installs in our shop! Give us a call: 301.835.9100.
@@TrailGridPro Thanks so much! I just purchased and scheduled an install.
Will it display the side cameras , multi terrain view on TRDPro
With the latest Alpine firmware update, your 360 cam setup will function the same as factory!
If I have the Sony mic can is there a mount to put the mic in the factory location
Yep! Our Sony Microphone Mount will work for that!
Will the Alpine knob work with a Carmount magnetic device mount?
We haven't actually tested that, but the knob comes with a mount designed for mounting it to the side of the floating screen for 509's and 511's!
Does it support multitouch when using CarPlay so that I can pinch and zoom?
Sure does!
i have the anytime front camera installed... will it work with this head unit (iLX-F509)?
Yep, it will!

Are these compatible with the 2024 4Runners? On your website it says up to 2023

this might be the unit i'm looking for my 2020 tundra limited
We couldn't agree more!
2012s are out of Alpine 🍀
2012 Toyota's?
Does it improve sound quality from speakers or no because they run off that stupid junk amp
Yep, your overall audio will improve just by swapping the head unit!
I just got the Sony one 🫠
Well, you made a great choice. Sony head unit bundles are awesome! That being said, so are the Alpine kits. You just have choices now!
