    If frequency will double, then kinetic energy will become more than double. If frequency will be tripled, then kinetic energy will become more than three times.

      Assalam u alaikum!! Sir u r right... As u said, if frequency is doubled, K.E will be more than double... Likewise, if we say, If K.E is doubled, then. Frequency will be less than double...... Ye wo concept he Jo aapne frequency k respect se lecture MN diaa he... To I think donon hi right hn... Kindly confirm krdn... Coz wahan hm frequency k poch rhe aur Yahan K.E ka.....

    The energy of the incident photons would double, but the photoelectron must escape the material it’s bound to first. It requires the threshold energy of the material just to be free with kinetic energy zero. So, no it wouldn’t double.
    For example :
    let’s say a metal has a threshold energy of 1eV. A photon of 3eV hits it. An electron might get this energy and free itself and have 2eV left over as kinetic energy.
    Now if that incident photon had twice the frequency it would be a 6eV photon (twice the energy.) The electron would pay off the energy holding it (still 1eV) and have 5eV left over as kinetic energy.
    As you can see, it will have more than double the kinetic energy it’s less energetic partner had.

      Sir apna ya kaha ha ka photon massless ha to phr relative mass b zero hona chahia....... but apna kaha ha ka infinity ..........or v=c ........ phr to zero hi hona chahia kuka nicha b zero upper b zero .......google pa zero a raha ha....... kindly guide mee....... confused ho gy ho😭
