- Macro photography doesn't have to be expensive. The Raynox DCR-250 will work with medium to long zoom lenses to create stunning macro images. Will work with any brand of camera, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc. A real inflation buster!

I am surprised that you don't get vignetting using the step down ring. BTW - spectacular photos.
The step down rings work great. No problems with vignetting.
Great video as usual! The idea of using step down rings was awesome!
Great video Don. I bought Raynox few months ago, it is very valuable item indeed. Your advice for step-up/download ring is great for much versatile usage of Raynox. Thanks for that idea! 👍
Thanks for watching!
Very interesting indeed.Thanks for sharing😊
Thanks for bv watching!
I must say you have really nice background behind you. It's dynamic, not always the same everyday, and changes with the seasons. :D Actually refreshing to see someone taking video outside rather than being in the studio.
And because of you I am hunting on good deal for Olympus Pen EP5 :)
Thank you! I like getting out of the house. It doesn't always work out but I work from home and part of the point in doing this is to get outside. Good luck on the EP5 search. I love mine.
Yes a pro needs what a pro needs and the rest of us can do as we please. For me an adapted Nikon 55mm ais micro works superbly on M43. A nice portrait lens as well. Thanks for the video.
Hi Don, that was interesting subject. I have the 60 mm Oly macro which I always have a problem using. But I’m gradually getting to grips with it having discovered focus stacking method. One of my favourite lenses is the cheap 40-150 Oly lens and your vid has got me interested to try the Raynox on it. BTW the price in the UK in 2023 is between £90 -£110. Loved your images, very inspiring.
Thank you! I think you will enjoy the Raynox.
I recently ordered Olympus 60mm macro. May I know What kind of adapters should I be using to fit this DCR-250 on that lens? Thanks in advance!

Raynox is great, but Nisi diopters are also a great option.
I'll have to check them out. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. Any questions worth the Nikon Z 24-200 67mm lens? thank you
How it works with auto-focus? Some people saying these lenses ruins auto-focus.
On my Olympus 40-150 f4-5.6 R lens I can move in and out from the subject to get the focus close and then lightly press the release button and the camera will fine tune the focus using the auto focus.
what happens if we attach two raynox diopters using a coupler ring? is it going to yield us even more magnification?
Well, I don't know, having never tried it. You might want to pose that question to Raynox.
