Budokai 1 - Best Story, Best looking (my opinion but the "style" it is looks better to me) Budokai 2 - Story mode (depends on your preference) and what if's Budokai 3 - Best Gameplay, Flashiest moves, Great story, good roster. Only thing I hate about B3 is the fact that they removed the what-ifs

As much as i loved budokai 3 i have to disagree, it was the furthest from the show's feel actually. The fighting itself was very slow, tenkaichi 3 was pretty close but nowhere perfect, they had to use a formula similar to Zone of the Enders to capture the show's signiture fast pace combat.
Budokai 3 was slow but very well-balanced and fun for a fighting game. It and Budokai 1's story mode were miles better than Tenkaichi's, and the music too. Tenkaichi 3 had a lot of characters and it played like the show, but balance went out the window.

I hope a sequel for Budokai 3 is made, that's by far the best DB game EVER, along with Tenkaichi 3 of course. If they ever made a Budokai 4 i hope they keep the beam struggles, i miss them so much

Any of the latest Dragon Ball Z games similar to this? I loved playing Budokai 3 when I was a teenager, the battles were so epic when you pull off an ultimate attack.
It's not actually censored, it's trying to destroy the planet because that's where it would end when defense wins, But since it goes to the Omega Blaster scene right away, it can't load the destruction sequence fast enough.
