Fun fact about Videl's Close Call, it's possible to get gohan to appear in different outfits depending upon the costume chosen. The Ultimate gohan and training Gi outfit you'll get most often depending upon the mirror match but you can also get gohan in his Saiyaman outfit if you do it right. I think it's if you fight Gohan in the Ultimate Gohan costume as Videl's second costume.
I like Budokai 2 (and it's enhanced 2V version) and I'll never understand why it never got remastered. This game was the transition point between Budokai 1 and 3 and the what-if fusions and absorptions were awesome like Tiencha (Yamhan) and Gokule (Gotan). Also who doesn't like Tower Of Power?

I’m a huge fan of this game but that’s cap. Fighterz is FAR from lazy, replicating and improving on the anime in so many ways. Superior to this game definitely when it comes to supers
I found it pretty sad that some of the transformations in the game actually made the character weaker as well as some of their ultimate attacks being turned into secondary ones in later games.

Very good question. Considering this game is on both PS2 & GameCube, it's much easier on a PS2 controller. What I did was utilizing both hands. Left hand was used to wiggle both analog sticks, while the right hand was used to mash the buttons on the right side of the controller. Btw, this is much faster than rotating your analog sticks.

On a side note, I wonder if there’s a way to datamine or see the character renders for the health bar portraits. At least half of those renders were recycled for Budokai 3 (ex: Goku’s forms, Cell, Frieza) but the other renders have never been seen in full yet! (Ex: Buu’s hypothetical absorptions, Super Saiyan 2 Trunks, Ultimate Gohan, Fuse with Kami Piccolo, Tiencha etc.)
You know it just occured to me. since a pure blooded saiyan fused with a pure blooded human to make Gokule, doesn't that mean he can theoretically go super saiyan as he would be a half saiyan?
