I dunno if anyone has said this or not, but that dab isn’t an emote.
Months ago, they announced that the WFC and FOC multiplayer servers were closed down, so that means Johnnyflash won’t be able to make videos having multiple characters in one area together. (This also explains why certain videos like the Nemesis Prime series is taking longer to make or why videos in general haven’t come out in a while.)
So, you see that he’s resorted to certain techniques like the 2D animation, or even having an animator animate scenes like Shockwave dabbing to Megatron.

I know its a year later but to answer your question about Shockwave’s one eye… Usually it is just kinda implied to be a natural feature of Shockwave, however the IDW G1 comics did have a pretty gruesome explanation…
Pre-war cybertron was ruled by a pretty sucky government which locked cybertronians into certain classes of society based purely on their alt mode which they had no control over, many cybertronians were punished for deviation by a procedure intended to dehumanize them which saw the removal of their face and hands and replacing them with a crude single eyed visor and claws.
Shockwave was a senator opposing this government and working with victims of the system, as punishment his fellow senators lobotomized him (hence his lack of emotion), removed his face and his hands. He later would be given new hands by Megatron but chose to replace one of them with an arm cannon since he knew a war was about to occur and wanted a more powerful weapon to defend himself with.
They actually give Shockwave a backstory in the comics to why he has one eye and one hand. Long story short he was once a senator on a corrupt senate. They decided to both mutilate him and inverse his personality. The result being the one-eyed mad scientist we know and love.

Grim lock didn’t take the eye, he took shockwaves hand that’s why he has a gun on his left arm
If he’s the smartest decpticon then why haven’t he made a second wave of Dinobots like a ankylosuar or a qutez (the isle fans will get that) and a brachiosaurus and to challenge grimlock like a spinosuarus aka scorn or somthing huh
never understood why people think he has bad perception. hes a robot designed with one eye its likely made to handle depth fine.

That part they used is SFM to make the characters do like Shockwave do the dab. And good point why the Insecticons call him the queen like the Predacon Inferno the fire ant call Beast Wars Megatron his queen. I hope you to his videos very soon nice job.
