What amazing scenery, that last bit of the decent looked like walking into an artwork. Looks like good company too. Not sure I despise my own existence enough to attempt that steep descent myself!
Oh yes, North Wales has some magnificent scenery. I posed that shot for the Thumbnail but it was right on our route. Looks even better in situ but the photo captures the dynamic shape of the mountainside. :) Warren

That view on your way down had a little road running past the lake. I drove that road on my summer trip.

Such a fantastic location. I should get up there more often but it's a 5+ hour drive so I have to make the trip worthwhile. Cheers, Warren :)
