- Heres another guitar cover for you all! This time were TRYING to downpick all of live wire by motley crüe but damn this ones a biiiitch! @@empmusic8312 I don't know how to play gitarr but have watched the video where the actuall guitarist for the song talks about the two sets of E strings, Ernies? How does one actually come about if one want to get that "trashy" hard rock sound that you have managed to get? Is it only the strings?
@@karol6322 Most of your sound in my opinion is gonna be impacted by the following
-80% from your amp and pedals
-20% by your guitars pickups
strings will make a minor difference. It's all in the amp honestly, in this video I used a virtual amp simulator. Hope that helps!

I used the TS9 DX overdrive! The same setting that matches the TS9 so you can use either and then I just dialed it in bias! 🤘

Awesome cover bro. Just started playing guitar a little over 3 weeks ago. Just learning basic chords and pentatonic scales. Any tips for a total beginner?
Thanks man and yeah I would just say practice what seems fun so you don’t get bored. The more hours you put in the better your technique. I’m also a strong advocate for something like Tab Pro by ultimate guitar. If you go to my videos it’s one of the ones callled like must have apps or something. That made my playing tighter cause I could slow down tabs and play along with drums and bass! Best of luck man it’s a great journey 🤘

what were you running on Bias amp 2 to get this tone it sounds awesome the main riff looks different from the tabs ive seen.
Hey garret if I remember correctly I captured the tone of my Mesa Mk V and then used bias amp 2 cabs from the celestion lineup! Two mics one on the speaker cone and one further out for that thiccness. I also have two tracks one L and one R. That paired with my Ibanez TS9DX gave me the tone! I would look it up exactly but my poor computer died, so you have bias amp 2?
