I've said repeatedly that no person who is innocent of such a heinous and horrendously brutal crime of the MOTHER of their children, would write a book entitled "If I did it." You wouldn't try to make up any scenario, you wouldn't joke about it, it wouldn't ever enter into your mind to try and envision it, and write it out NONE OF IT-- BECAUSE YOU CARE ABOUT AND LOVE YOUR KIDS!!! This was their MOTHER!! They will never be able to fathom the level of brutality used against their mom in her last moments, without being absolutely destroyed! Those poor children! That was the move of a completely depraved soulless person. You don't love your children more than you hate their mother. That sealed the deal for me. I always thought he was guilty anyways, but that book that he wrote was the last gavel in that case for me. RIP Nicole and Ron, and condolences to their families, even now.

@jenkinsljenkinssquire9137 Not necessarily. Running away doesn't always imply guilt. People can be really scared and the "fright or flight" instinct (I think that's what it's called) kicks in. Now in OJ's case he was guilty, but, sometimes people take off without a thought-- they're just scared out of their wits. And a lot of the time, they don't even have an experience to base it on. They just get super scared and flee...

As a complimentary to Edelman's masterpiece "OJ: Made in America" (2016), seek out and watch "Burn Motherf'ker, Burn!" (2017), directed by Sacha Jenkins. This very fine documentary goes even deeper in examining the history of the troubled, even turbulent relationship between the LAPD and Los Angeles' Black community, which was decades in the making.
I would be remiss if I fail to thank Stephen A. Smith and Carl Douglas for this fine, thought-provoking interview (and the work they've been doing over the decades).

Do people realize if OJ didn't commit the crime, then the LAPD would have pre-arranged framing OJ and brought samples of his blood ready to sprinkle and hair sample in the knit cap, knew that OJ couldnt have had an alibi, knew that OJ would have blood from the victims in his vehicle, knew that someone scaled the fence at Kato Katleins apartment at the time of the murder, knew that OJ wouldnt have been ready for the Limo driver waiting for him, knew that OJ would have a fresh cut on his finger. They also would have known that OJ would have owned a pair of Bruno Magli shoes to plant that evidence. They would have had to make an agreement with Ron Goldman ahead of time that he was to be a martyr and spill his blood at Nicole's house, and be placed in OJ's Bronco? This was not justice for black Americans, this is the same ignorant prejudice that once deemed them to be valued as a fourth of a person.
