When you were showing your laid out parts at the beginning of this…the needle bearing on the sheet labelled “save”. Was that a mystery piece and did it come from the engine mounting bolt lol

Yeah, that was one of those pieces that went rolling down the bench..lol.. I believe it was a needle bearing for the transmission if I remember correctly.

Im trying to get my 1984 kdx200 running. Its hard to start. Has spark but takes like 70 kicks to fire up. Compressiin is at 165, timing marks are in spec. What to do?

Hi. I actually started the video but soon realized when I ordered the stuff I needed I was short some wire. I ordered it last week but still hasn't arrived. Hoping it will be in soon. I'll keep you posted.

You put grease in crank bearings🤦‍♂️ that’s gonna ruin the spark plug bc it’s gonna get into the expansion chamber

Thanks for the tip. The one bearing with the green Grease came that way. I did add a little of the red grease, during installation but wiped out most of it before reassembly. Thanks again... always learning.

It's not quite in there yet.... As he's hammering away on the same edge of the socket like he's driving a nail in. Aren't you supposed to hit all around the seal not just the one end over and over and over

Nope your supposed to hit it over and over.
