I bought the raw metal with tobacco brown leather a few days ago! Plan on picking up the Contour in brass with Mississippi leather! Open Seas is another good leather minimalist wallet brand too!! But I LOVE Trayvax. The owner Mark owns a pretty awesome company!! He also started a truck camper company called Kimbo. Cool guy
Hi Colt, I have owned The Ridge wallet for many years, my money clip never stretch out. It’s been a part of my EDC ever since I got it. I have tried many other wallets including Trayvax, but keep going back to The Ridge.
I own the ridge carbon fiber with money clip and gunmetal aluminum with money strap and I own a dango t01 tactical dapper wallet and a trayvax original 2.0 that I love too but I always go back to my ridge
@@Dannyv1987 keep trying other wallets. But The Ridge is still my favorite. I can put my knife, and other edc items in my pocket and not worry about them hurting my cards.
@@mariopinder242 yes me too I have a couple leather bellroy wallets too that are nice and small but I always go back to trayvax original 2.0 and ridge those two are my favorite and will be for many years to come unless they come out with something better
Good review. I wish I had watched this before ordering my Ascent last week. I’ve been using the Trayvax Original 2.0 for about 8 months and love it, but the leather of the Ascent and that pull tab kept calling me, so I ordered one.
I just got the Ascent and I have 3 cards and a folded bill in the slot with the pull tab, and 4 cards in the other tab. They were very tight at first so I soaked it in water for 10 minutes, wiped the excess water off, and put extra cards in the slots. The next day it was a lot easier, and I worked the pull tab over and over and it got easier and easier. Today, the third day, it is nearly perfect. The front slot is a little tight with 4 cards but perfect with 3 cards. It will loosen some more in time and one of the cards I don’t use much anyway. I love this wallet. For 7 or 8 months I used the Trayvax Original 2.0 and it easily held 14 cards and IDs with room for much more. I love the 2.0, very secure, but my wife did not look the look of all metal so I bought it for the leather and the great pull tab feature. Thin cheap leather will not hold the cards secure but this thick expensive leather will hold the cards for years. It is beautiful and the thick stainless steel offers very substantial protection for your cards and feel great in my hand. I really love this wallet.
