Money will give you a lot of things that are worth a lot: just to name a few; a house in a safe neighborhood and a life where you don’t need to stress about how you’re gonna pay your bills or where your next meal is gonna come from. Money can get you a lot of things that are worth much, especially in this economy lol.
Money is actually very important, especially if one of your family members is sick and needs the funds to get the best care. It may not bring ‘happiness’ but it can sure buy you things that is more than worth it. And lets be real, poor people aren’t all happy, neither are the super filthy rich. Is anyone on this world truly HAPPY all the time? NOPE. So, if I had to choose, I much rather be an unhappy rich person than an unhappy poor person.

Ok I digged into this story further. Boba girl's father is pretty rich and has connection with chinese Olympic association. She got admitted in that prestigious university with her gymnast quota. Her billionaire husband was divorced and his ex wife still works in his company. It is common for Chinese billionaires to have a mistress. Boba girl knew what what she was getting into by marrying that father figure husband. Their family was making a dynasty.
You know what if it works for her then good for her I guess. Girl knows what she wants and perhaps when her own assets are high enough for her liking she would ask for a divorce or maybe she could care less about him having a mistress seeing how he is old enough to be her dad maybe she is more than happy if someone takes care of his needs instead of her. She also has a kid now so she must protect their interest too.

Yeah a professor student relationship def has an imbalanced power dynamic. Some people think she'd "too smart to be groomed", but I disagree. What I am guessing is most successful people especially married once are in the mindsets that someday some sort of scandal will broke out especially easily about cheating because so many people are after their money or success. So she understands that. If she easily gives divorce that means their enemies succeeded and both will loose their business first, reputation and their entire family future will be impacted heavily that they worked so hard for. Also there are times behind the curtain both know their marriage is not what it looks on the screen so these types of scandals are shock for people but not for the family. There are many couples stay together for different reasons and dates others while they are married and their spouse knows it but they are together under same roof for many different reasons.

she is definitely smart and strong. she probably kept the marriage for her children and their future (mother & children), as she's involved with the company, she probably knew the implications of what happened. i like that she calls out what her husband did as stupid and not gloss over it and i like that she doesn't tolerate or answer her husbands cheesiness or antics on socmed when she doesn't feel like it. i just love her no nonsense talk. some people are just built differently, cheating is a deal breaker for some but when a lot of things are involved, you set aside your heart for the greater good of the people around you. i'm hoping the husband he'l keep getting the treatment he deserves from her in their private life and really repents.
