@@Michael-qd6cpTrue, But they have their camera mans doing that already. I appreciate the upload. It just sucks that everyone is looking to upload now in days. What is wrong with the audience? I just checked other live videos of the same song and it is always the same. Lots of phones and few people actually enjoying the music and headbanging/jumping/dancing. There is even quite a lot of people with no phones but still not moving at all. This confuses me. All the videos I saw were from the US so is it a problem over there? A few months back I went to Electric Callboy (admittedly rather different metal style) here in Germany and the crowds went nuts. Just look at this video from the concert I went to: ruclips.net/video/AwEuORvcy9Q/видео.html They will be touring the US in a month or so. I'll check live videos then to see if it is the US audience or something else that is causing this problem. This is weird...
The problem with the audience is that there are too many young woke people in it. I always purchase GA tickets. Over the last 4 to 5 years I've noticed that people in the "pit" think they purchased a specific spot for them to stand. If you walk into their "bubble" they get mad and confront you by saying they were standing there first. These concert goers will eventually ruin live shows all together. A lot of venues are already doing away with GA and only allowing seats. It's a f*cking joke!
Think it has to do with different genres. I go to so many show and experience so many types of crowds. I see plenty of wild crowds in the metal/metalcore scene. But bands like falling in reverse I always see a ton of people just recording and singing along. I see it a lot in bands that used to be heavy but now are a bit softer. The pits used to be bigger and wilder. Different people than back in the day maybe? Just my opinion from what I see.
I have a one word answer for you that should explain a LOT.........SEATS!!!!! I try and try to explain that 'moshing' and 'Mosh Pits' are dying out, becoming a thing of the past because of the fact that nowadays in America most of the venues (all of the largest ones) are filled with SEATS. You cannot mosh in the SEATS, you cannot jump in the SEATS. My roommate moved in with me 4 years ago and every time I come home from a metal concert I get the same question....did you mosh, was there a mosh pit?!?!? Because when I saw TOOL debut their latest album he was in complete disbelief that NO ONE moshed at a Tool concert. Well I tried to explain that the whole amphitheater was full of SEATS. Our metal culture and heritage is being threatened with annihilation by a silent killer called SEATS. The old people in power don't want to say anything about it because their asses are quite comfortable in SEATS. They pay for SEATS they want their SEAT. But metal heads just want the freedom to mosh, to play and to be free to jump around and have FUN. But, no one but me cries out in anguish that SEATS are killing metal culture faster and harder than any other NAZI, Dictator, or concentration camp. Please spread the word and awareness and make sure your next metal venue has a place to mosh or you will be standing there just like Grandma and EVERYONE ELSE in America!!!
There is clearly an entire floor to mosh at this show. I save my floor experience for Metallica. Make sure to tune in next year for some snake pit action.
@@Michael-qd6cp Even with an open floor the younger generation will get mad if you stand next to them. They believe their ticket entitles them to a specific place to stand where nobody can bump into them. If you do they get mad and complain that they were standing there first. This is especially true when a female is involved..... "my wife is pregnant, don't touch her".... I tell them they should have purchased a seat and continue to bounce my way around the pit. I'm 48 and have been attending concerts via GA tickets since I was 13. The times have definitely changed. As far as Falling in Reverse is concerned... I saw them in Seattle and their show was boring. I went to the bar and had some drinks during their set. It might have been more entertaining if I actually knew who they were as a band.
I agree it was a different experience back before cell phones, good times. If you truly stand by that though I would stop cruising the RUclips watching and commenting on live shows.
I'm glad I just watched the music video and Ronnie sing 40% of the song... That was pathetic of a performance. Hope it didn't cost that much to go to that. The song by itself is fucking badass tho
To be fair, you try singing that song from start to finish, without anyone backing you up. Even Eminem needs help singing rap god live on stage. Performance was fine from my point of view.
Watching this had me scratching my head. It just seemed... flat? Which is weird.. the song and production is top tier. Is it them playing the visuals to the music video behind that made it feel lazy? Is there a disconnect between the crowd and the band because of the elevated stage between them that Ronnie is on? I genuinely like FIR but this didn't sell me on the live performance. granted, it might not even be them that's the issue. Something doesn't seem cohesive.
