Exactly. The fries actually taste like potatoes, extra crispy is best. The buns are insane, unlike anyone else's buns. You can taste how clean the whole burger is. We Californians like the taste of clean, quality, food, and we know the difference. The shakes aren't the best, but definitely better than a watered down icy frosty.
The chocolate milkshake at In-N-Out reminds me of the chocolate milkshakes I used to have at Burgerville whenever I visited my maternal family in Oregon.
The chopped chilies are where it's at. This past year they were out and using banana peppers as a substitute. I had to stop eating In N Out. But they're back!!!! Also recommend getting the chilies on your fries. So good.
INO associate here, if you make the fries light well, they become crispier (or even ask for well done), so they don't become soggy with the toppings for animal fries. You can also ask for chilies on top, to add a bit of a spicier kick!
Everything you had beside the chocolate shake was on the secret menu, or as in n out calls it, "The-Not-So-Secret-Menu" and the Flying Dutchman is usually 2 patties with cheese melted between them.
In-N-out comes through with quality, price, and the business hours, not to mention the service. I’m a fan!
